Horrible customer service, once they think they have performed the job they will just ignore any complaints or e-​mails! Butchered one of my spruce trees that they were supposed to just trim back, forgot to prune another one and haven’t come back! Then to make things worse they applied spider mite control 6 weeks after we hired them to do it and in the middle of the summer when it needs to be done «early season», obviously they did it too late and damage was already done but of course they still billed us for it. They also never fertilized the spruce trees but sent us a bill for $ 275. To top things off they added $ 20 in «service charges» because they have not received payment even though they refuse to address any of the issues with us! horrible business, do not use them, I will be telling all my neighbors the same and this is a company that is a 10 minute drive from my house.
McGuinn sent us to collections on $ 209 past due, a service they did not perform to the contract standards! no one would discuss it with us, I guess they hold you to the contract pricing even if they don’t perform to the contract conditions themselves!

Had a great experience with McGuinn Tree Service. We had a big ash tree in the yard that was completely dead. The wires ran through the tree. Did a great job of taking it out and cleaned up every twig. Wonderful experience.

If you like arrogance, poor communication, and not adhering to the tree trimming contract, then McGuinn Tree Care is the company for you.
Beware, owner said he doesn’t believe in leaving phone messages for when his workers might be coming.
