5 Star Window Detailing

Let me say that I have used this service once before and they did a good job of cleaning my windows. That being Said, this company is a hot mess when it comes to running a business. When I used them a year ago there was an argument regarding the package I bought and the number of windows included. Even though I purchased a pkg that included a greater number of windows I was told that was only valid for a 2 story house. (which was hard to understand, since cleaning the same # of windows on a single story house is significantly easier). Regardless, I was given a story on how they were already losing $ on this deal and was upcharged. I made the mistake of trying to schedule again when I got an e-​mail with a promotion. I scheduled more than a month in advance. I was called once to reschedule, which I agreed to. Then on that date, no one showed up. I called expressing my anger (after missing my kids activities waiting) to an answering machine. I later received an e-​mail, not a call, saying they would have to reschedule. 2 days later I got a call apologizing and promising to make things right. Again During my 3^rd scheduled time, I sat waiting for a 2 hour window in which no one showed up. This time my frustrated message received a return call. There was kind of an apology, but mostly just a lame excuse saying they were growing too fast to keep up with their business, with no effort to make things right, get the job done, or keep their customer happy. I will not make the mistake of wasting my time on this company again. And any business who does not value their customers will not stay in business no matter how many people they lure with a cheap deal. Charge what you need and deliver on your promises. That is how you build a business.

It looks like when they do show up and follow through they do a good job, but as others experienced I never got the opportunity to find out. I called them 2 weeks ago to schedule before Easter. I set it on Wed. That morning, after making arrangements for my son to be here so I could go to the zoo with my visiting grand daughter, they cancelled due to an employee that cancelled for the day. They rescheduled for Fri. since they had other jobs in Orange County – the day I originally tried to avoid, being the last day of our visiting family that live out of the country. I moved things away from the window to prepare for them, again… and then called before I did the big kitchen window area. Again, they cancelled due to other jobs in my area rescheduling. They wanted to come next Tues. My event is Sun. so Tues. would be too late. Good luck if you choose to use them. Maybe if you have plenty of days to work with – but if your schedule is that flexible, maybe you’d rather just do your own windows!

My experience has been similar. Not sure how they stay in business either. They are unprofessional and I had a no show as well. My appt has been rescheduled 2 times and they are telling me that they meant to call to tell me they were not coming and that we will need to reschedule again. I have had it! Requested a refund for my living social voucher. I bought one for my parents and after a no show and a reschedule they did actually show up and actually did a good job. It’s not the way to do business.

Stay away! I managed to get a hold of an actual person once to schedule a window cleaning. The date was then pushed back three times. I tried to get a hold of someone to see if my voucher would still be valid since they ended up scheduling me more than two months after my initial call. NOT ONE email or voice mail was returned. Can you imagine not returning an email; it takes two seconds! Of course no one showed up for the appointment nor did anyone call or email to tell me they weren’t coming.

I can’t rate their clean ing service because they never bothered to show but I can give them a rating for their customer service. I wish there was a zero star for these guys. We made an appointment with them over a month ago. They gave us an appointment window of 3 hours today. After waiting for them and calling several times with no response I was able reach speak with a gentleman in the field who confirmed that the office called him regarding my messages but that he did not have us on the schedule and would not be coming out. Still have not heard back from anyone in the office? Sounds like I had a similar experience as Steven & Tracy.

How does this company stay in business? We had an appointment scheduled for this morning. Took six weeks to schedule the appointment; which i can live with for a discounted groupon price. I called twice today and emailed with no answer. No one ever showed up to do our windows. I don’t understand how companies like this exist. Trust the bad reviews and stay away from this company.

they are total scam artists and will schedule times but never show up!!! i would give them zero stars if i could. i scheduled with them 2 times and they didn’t show up either time. not only did they not show, but they didn’t call either and had me waiting over 2 hours for them! shame on me for trying for a second appointment. i can only hope that people read this, and they go out of business!

If it were possible to give no stars I would! This is the worst customer service I have ever received or not received. Starting in November I made a plethora of phone calls to five star never receiving a reply last month I called again I did speak to someone. I indicated that I had a voucher and he said that voucher holders were not allowed to make an appointment until several months out as they had to justify the loss on the vouchers and had to group them geographically. I agreed to pay full price so that I could have the service done prior to going into surgery. Late the afternoon prior to said appointment I received an email indicating that they needed to reschedule to Friday. This is impossible for me as that is the day of my surgery. I responded with an email and a phone call and received no response. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well as filing a small claims suit.

This «company» will not honor the voucher purchased through Amazon local. They failed to show up at their appointed date and time. We have since tried to call them and have left messages, emailed them and have received no sign of life from them as if they do not exist! At this point I consider I have wasted enough time on this «bogus» offer and I have requested a refund from Amazon local!

I wish I could write a review of the actual service. I have a living social voucher, I have made 3 appointments, 1 canceled by phone early morning of, 2 canceled via email. One of those was 5 minutes before appointment time. Each time they told me they would call to reschedule, but each time I had to call– each time the new appointment was weeks away. Every time I had plans I could have made but instead I prepared the house to have windows washed. I even gave them a chance to respond and make me a new appointment before writing this review and they never did. I have asked living social for a refund, but at this point– if they actual make me an appointment and show up on time I will rewrite my current review.

Unfortunately I cannot review the work performed by this company as they never showed up. Apparently the Amazon Local Deal they did was too big for them to handle.
I started calling on ¹¹⁄₂₉ for a deal that was to expire ¹²⁄₂₇. I had bought this specifically to use prior to the holidays. The owner called me back on ¹¹⁄₂₉ to tell me they were closed and to call back on Monday. It took me 5 more phone calls over the next 2 weeks before I received another call back.
The owner told me they could not get me in before the expiration, but assured me the value of the voucher would be valid after the expiration day and scheduled me for 1÷16÷14. I called 3 times to verify the appointment with no call back and no one ever showed up to do the work.
Big thanks to Amazon Local for immediately refunding the voucher.

I purchased a Living Social Deal with them. I scheduled an appointment with Ray weeks in advance. I called them 3 times to confirm the Friday before with no answer or response. They never showed up to clean my windows. (after staying home during the hours they were given). I called again on day of the days following. After multiple messages and even test messages– no one has still returned my call. And I paid for it. I have also contacted Living Social. Do not use this company– completely unreliable and unresponsive.

Very pleased with the job that Ray and his crew did at our house. We have a 2 story house with lots of windows, screens and skylights and he made them look new. I would recommend with no hesitation. Ray takes pride in his work and goes above and beyond.

I was very pleased with the services Ray provided. He was professional, punctual, and performed an excellent job cleaning all my windows, screens and the window tracks. I was equally impressed when he and his helper put on booties to walk on the carpet. He and At&T reps were the only ones I didn’t have to request that they do so. (I’m a stickler about walking on my carpet with shoes). I will definitely use his services again with a groupon again!
Overall, I was very satisfied with his services. I just wish he did window tinting for homes…

Ray showed up on time with 1 other employee. We had a groupon that only cover so many windows. We had more windows and had to pay extra to clean those which was okay. They did a good job and I would definitely use them again

ended up getting a refund from groupon esp after reading all the horrible reviews. attempted to call to make a reservation but no one ever answers the phone. made me wonder if this was legitimate business and didn’t want to find out if it was or not. i probably called for several days to schedule a window washing and it took them a few days to respond back.

Very dissatisfied with the service of this company. I bought a groupon for $ 79 for up to 30 windows, cleaning included inside and out, tracks and screens. I also added the cleaning of sliding doors. I went into the website and noticed they also offered power washing, so when I made my appointment I added that. I paid $ 120 for the power washing and the job was poorly done but. . It is outside so you can tell that much, however the windows, that’s a different story. The screens are still dirty, the windows are blotchy with marks especially in the corners. I called the very next day to let them know to see if something could be done and of course, did not get an answer.
I also sent an email with no reply. In the past I had used another company called No Streak Windows and they were great. I learned my lesson for sure. Never again sometimes you try to save some money and it turns out bad. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. Check the pictures that were taken less than 48 hours after the job was completed.
