Cheap phones. U get what u pay for. Well actually it costs about 9 cents to make a cell phone. It’s not surprising the ones u find here are worth 5c.

«Hole-in-the-wall ghetto cell phone store…» The only reason I noticed this store is the fact that I get irritated by the cars who park in front of it. The cars always block traffic and it’s not well lit so it’s no secret that I’ve come close to hitting them. Besides, anything that gets in my way of my fluffy comfy all-white bed is «cruisin’ for a bruisin’.» But, I was in need of a charger. I think this is the 5th phone charger I’ve lost(If you count car chargers, then I’ve lost more). I felt naked for a day without my cell phone and I didn’t want to go to the Cingular store to buy a high-priced one. The two guys there are very helpful and test multiple chargers to make sure they work. The«special of the day» is two chargers for $ 15 which sounds like a great deal since Cingular charges $ 29 for one. I poke around in the $ 5 box and there’s a lot of Michael Jordan phone covers. I guess if you like Michael Jordan, this is your oasis. I took off 1-star because they charged me $ 1.50 to use my credit card AND they took down my driver’s license number. Wow, charge me money to use a common payment method AND try to get some personal info. Super BAD!!! Parking is truly very annoying here. You park right in front of the store and on a very busy street. I purposefully left my emergency lights on because my car is black. Hey people, I do my part and you do your part(i.e. don’t hit my car!!! It’s such a hassle to figure out how to fix car stuff). No parking between 4 – 6 pm on any weekday!!! And don’t park at the convenience store next door. First, there’s only 2 parking spots there(that’s convenient?) and it has this low wall that scratches the bottom of your car. Oh, and the phone guys told me they might«mess up your car» if you park there. As I left, they gave me a card and told me I could call in advance if I just wanted to «drive by and pick it up. You don’t even have to get out of the car.» hahahaha. My own ghetto cell phone concierge and drive by pick-up time… hahahaha: D
