i love costco for their tire center. have bought all my tires here ever here since first finding them, and i spread the word to everyone i know. sure, you can probably find new tires a bit cheaper elsewhere, but a company that stands behind its products can save you hundreds. you really get the royal treatment here with their fantastic 5-​year warranty policy, free flat repairs, and free nitrogen anytime.
that said, the dude here this last time was a very poor excuse for customer service. he is not a people person. this is not the job for him. really bad. unequivocally.
no dramatic reality-​show moments here, just really pathetic attitude. by this i mean at times rude, at times non-​existent customer service below even the most minimal normal communication that you would expect to complete a business transaction. it was the same when i came in, when i checked back, and when i picked up the car, so i don’t think i simply caught him at a bad moment, maybe a bad century.
as a small side note, i don’t know why they leave the floor and seat protective plastic in a big wad on the seat, but that one’s an easier fix.
