Del Taco

Yhis location seems to always have issues. This last visit I was done. We got in line, no one in front of us and we still waited atleast 2min before the cashier came up. We placed our order and we sat down. We ordered 8 of your 59 cent tacos. Quick easy simple. 5min go by, we say nothing, 10min we say nothing. Then a couple who came after us placed there order and got it quickly. My husband of course gets upset and goes to talk to some one. All the people behind the counter are ignoring him. And then they call a number which is 10 numbers after ours. My husband lost it and we walked out. No food or refund. Not going back to Del Taco ever again. As we were living they bring the tray out. But we just walked out. I know its fast food, but standards people.

I normally come here when I don’t have too much time on my hands… the combo buritto is my go to menu item. The fries are REALLY good, but overall its ok.
So, if you are in a hurry and there is one near you… hit it up… won’t be bad.
I’m sure that I will be back…

The food was delish! I liked how clean it was inside and outside the restaurant. The lady that took my order was super nice and patient. She was friendly and made me feel welcome. Food was prepared considerably fast (faster than I anticipated). I was stressing that my lunch break will be too short to get my food. But I was wrong. I even had time to eat. Thanks to the people working there! You guys are awesome!

«Utilizing my birthday coupon for a free shake»
I was a bit skeptical when the coupon said free. I made sure I read all the fine print a few times. I stood in line behind a paying customer and I almost felt obligated to order some food but i said, no it’s my birthday I am not paying for anything.
I gave my coupon to what looked like the manager who was helping his crew. He said, what flavor would I like and would I like whip cream? Yes, sure I want whip cream. He filled the whip cream all the way to the top of the lid. Yummy vanilla shake with whip cream. Happy birthday to me.

Assuming this is the one on Hawthorne Blvd… the place was packed at 9pm. If you can deal with the gang bangers in the parking lot, the food is actually pretty good. Two chicken taco’s for 2 bucks! How can you beat that if you are starving?
