Gave this place a go for a 1st date. It was a good meal with service to match. I would definitely recommend it.

We got there at 11:30am on a Wednesday. Many tables were still available. We sat down quickly and studied the menu. Both of us wanted to be semi-healthy. So we had our burgers protein style. Okay, I was expecting a bed of lettuce underneath the burger patty. But when it came out, it was only a thin piece of lettuce. That’s where the disappointment came in. The burger would have tasted better with the real bun or more lettuce. Maybe if I had ordered a regular burger, the burger would have tasted a lot better.

This place had a sports bar feel — sticky floor and everything. The truffle fries were delicious but the jalapeño burger was average. Their«Nacho Average Nachos» were definitely not your average nachos — they were less than average. It had a good amount of chips and chicken but that’s about it. Barely any cheese and a drop of sour cream and a pinch of diced tomatoes. It was the saddest plate of nachos I’ve honestly ever had. Service was okay. Waiter was friendly but our waters never got refilled and I had to ask for sour cream(since there was none on my nachos) a second time from a different waitress ’cause our waiter never brought it over when I first requested it. They also took so long to take our cheque that we just ended up going up and giving it to them at the register.

Eureka, you changed my beloved Chicken sandwich and I will never forgive you. It was the BEST, but the new pesto version plain sucks. Good drinks, but not really a fan of the food here(esp since they killed my chicken sandwich). I came for breakfast once as well, but that was a major fail. Myself and two friends all ordered breakfast sandwiches and all three had oddly over and under-cooked eggs with an unexplainable amount of grease. Also, in the 20+ times I have been here, I have never once experienced good service. It is very, very slow.

My co workers and I usually end up here on Friday’s after work. Pretty cool hang out and the happy hour isn’t bad. The service is a hit or miss. Depends on who you get, but I suppose that’s the case anywhere. If you work next to it, WALKTHERE. Parking lot is tiny. Oh, and ummmm try the chicken nachos, they’re freakin’ delicious!

Eureka, this place is good! This is the spot whenever you need a delicious bite before you jet out from Hawthorne airport. Also a great place for a brew with a rotating selection so regulars never get bored. Had the bone marrow burger(they melt the bone marrow into the patty); it’s a unique idea and taste, but fairly heavy. Our group had plenty of apps during happy hour and all were good — especially the Osso Buco riblets and truffle fries. Need to hit the gym after this gluttony. You’ll will never think of «airport food» the same again.

Who would have known that this restaurant existed right next to the Hawthorne airport? Apparently a lot of people as this place was definitely happening on a Friday during lunch. My co-worker knew about this place and took us here. Ambiance is lively with multiple TVs everywhere to watch sports. Most fun, however, is to watch all of the small planes and helicopters land at the airport. The food here was good as well as the service. We ordered the crispy glazed brussel sprouts which were a little spicy and oily as well as the Shishito peppers. I think this place is known for its burgers but I got the Napa chicken sandwich in an attempt to be healthy and managed to cancel that out with some of their delicious signature handcut fries. The sandwich was juicy and good with lots of flavor. Definitely recommend this place for lunch or happy hour!

My boyfriend and I ate here as a birthday lunch date. It’s located pretty much on the landing strip of a small airfield. We sat at a table by the wall of windows looking out at the planes landing and taking off. It was a neat location. We ordered two burgers to share between the two of us: the bone marrow butter burger and the fig burger. Both were fantastic but the fig burger really wowed us. We both opted for sweet potato fries, which were slightly sweet with a light drizzle of maple syrup? Delicious. We also ordered the«Penicillin» cocktail which was wonderful; a smokey whiskey, honey, and ginger. The waitress was extra special, she went out of her way when she overheard me mention to my boyfriend it was his birthday, and surprised us with a complimentary scoop of vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate.

The food was okay. The burger I tried was good. It was clean. It also tasted fresh. I initially thought the sauce would be too sweet or strong but it was a good combination. The place was a good environment. I would come back for sure to try it again.

I was very surprised by this place! They good was beyond and I love a everyday happy hour spot! Amirite? Lol. I had the fried chicken sliders with fries, chicken nachos and a bite from a friends bone marrow burger. BTW, do not sleep on the bone marrow burger, its bomb AF. My food was delish and my drink — spiced rum was so good. Shout out to the home for dinner this evening. I hope to come back and try the burgers. Must try, cool bar and setting.

Such a fun dining experience my family and I had here! Located in the Hawthorne Airport, also known as the Jet Center Los Angeles, neighboring the local fire department and SpaceX. It was an unassuming place to visit until we arrived. We chose to sit by the window to get a view of the landing strip. What an excellent choice because throughout our meal we enjoyed watching the small planes coming and going. They offer breakfast options till 2pm. We decided to try their osso buco riblets and lollipop corn dogs as appetizers, breakfast burrito and the 3 eggs breakfast with sausage and potatoes. Everything we ordered we enjoyed. The osso buco riblets were delicious! A tad spicy but the sauce was perfect for it. Plenty of meat as well. The spicy mustard for the corn dogs was another perfect pair. There were appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and beer on the menu. Will definitely need to return to try other items. All in all, a great place to enjoy a good meal with a view. Wait staff was very friendly and courteous. Parking wasn’t a problem at the time we arrived which was before 12pm, but filled up quickly as we were leaving.

Went back for lunch as I had an appointment and needed to linger in the area. Had the Blue burger… no bueno! It was dry and cooked well done, although I had asked for medium. I love blue cheese burgers and usually get them whenever I go to a place that has them on the menu. I should’ve went with my first mind and got the steak salad that I enjoyed so much previously. I also wasn’t impressed with the sweet potato fries.

I finally got to try this place and I’m glad I did it was really good Décor: the place looks really is has a modern sports bar feel to it with out the loud noise and dirty floors the bar looks nice and everything else is very clean and it has a nice view of the airport The service: the service was great our server Adam helped us with the menu and gave us some suggestions he was friendly and welcome cracked a couple jokes with us and always refilled our water while serving other tables he seemed to really enjoy doing it as well The food: the food was great what I liked about the menu is that it wasn’t too overwhelming with stuff it seemed like they really took their time on picking what to put on the menu instead of just throwing a bunch of stuff on there I had ordered the bison burger with sweet potato fries and it was perfect I never had bison before and let me tell you it was amazing juicy and seasoned very well and the sweet potato fries were the best sweet potato fries I’ve had in a long time i am a sweet potato fry aficionado so I know when it’s good and these were beyond my expectations Overall: if your looking for a place to hang out and grab a bite with some friends while the games on or just in general this place is where you should go I enjoyed it

Wow! I really loved the food here! Service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent! This place is inside Jet Center Los Angeles. There is an entrance to Eureka! Tasting Kitchen from the parking lot. Also, in the parking lot, there are some parking spots designated for diners with a 2hr Parking restriction. TIP: Restroom is in the Jet Center Los Angeles lobby. The interior is done very nicely, reflective of aeronautics theme. The fans look like they are propellers and the one wall looks like it is metal with rivets simulating the exterior of an unpainted plane. You get a front row seat to the goings on outside! The planes load from right outside the restaurant’s windows. We watched a plane load up and take-off. This is a pretty busy place, we were entertained watching all the planes come and go. There is a fairly large bar area. «Hoppy» Hour is from 2PM to 6PM! We had 2 drinks and they were both quite delicious! One was The Spicy Shine and the other was the Bloody Mary. Both had a nice kick. The Bloody Mary is a mouthwatering sight… garnished with bacon, olives, and celery! I would definitely have it again! We had the Potato Chowder, while it was tasty, it was not served very warm. I would have preferred it to be piping hot. I hope they decide to serve their soups warmer than tepid. We shared everything… we had the Jalapeño Egg Burger. It was very good and was enhanced by the runny egg on top! It comes with french fries, but we paid an extra $ 1.50 to change it out for Honey Cinnamon Sweet Potato Fries. I’ve never had sweet potato fries drizzled with anything sweet, so that was interesting! We also tried the Panko Onion Rings… huge rings! I was kind of shocked we got only 4(the 4th one might have been a bonus as it was a smashed ring) How stuffed we were near the end of the shared meal, but we decided we must try the Rum Pudding! It was smooth and likeable. The pudding was good with the butterscotch on top, but I wasn’t so sure about the salt they sprinkled. I don’t really like salted caramel, and this is along the same line. I didn’t know it was served like that. They have some other cool menu items which I’d like to try and I’m sure they won’t disappoint!

It was my brother in laws birthday so we decided to have dinner here as a family. Cool little place right on the airport property. We walked in and got seated right away. We looked over the menu and placed our order. We started with the Eureka wings and placed our drink order. My father in law and I had the green flash IPA, my wife and mother in law had a 4 beer sampler and my brother in law had a Bacardi and Coke with a lime. While we waited and waited and waited till finally we had to flag our waiter down to know what was going on with our drinks. He said the bar tender had to squeeze orange juice so it was taking a little. What does beer have to do with orange juice??? A couple minutes later we got our drinks and the wings. Wings were good, saucy and tasty. We placed our order and they were all burgers. I had the Napa Burger that came with Roma tomato, pesto aioli, Havarti, pancetta, arugula, and signature handcut fries. I have to say the burger was very tasty and cooked perfectly. All the flavors coming together in one bite was great. The food was good but I have to say service not so much. I don’t know if they were under staffed or the waiter was new but there needs to be some evaluation to see what they need to do to be more efficient and on point with there clients. If somethings going to take a while like our drinks let us know and not wait for someone to flag you down. For our first time the food gets a thumbs up and service a thumbs down. Maybe your experience will be different. 11.5

Tonight was the second pint night that I have attended at Eureka! Each time I enjoyed the happy hour as well as the taken over tap beer with the complimentary pint glass. I noticed that each time the place filled with SpaceX employees. Well I guess that’s not rocket science because they are basically connected. Hehe. Anyways, the food is good, especially for the price. I feel like they could have a better variety of beers on tap, but they do have a pretty good selection in cans as well as cocktails, whiskey and wine. Service was nice and friendly and the environment was spectacular. I don’t think I’d come for any other reason than for pint night though.

Loved the location. Great novelty of watching planes while you eat. Came here for lunch(party of 7), by 11:45 there was a line of people waiting. I suggest getting there before the lunch hour. 2 hour parking is limited too! The noise level by noon time was deafening, so not good for conversation, which is OK if you’re just there to eat and drink. Ordered the hangar beer, light mild taste… I did enjoy the beer. We ordered a variety of appetizers. They were just OK. The truffle fries were limp and mushy, not impressed(2 stars) The riblets, though very flavorful were extremely dry(inedible = 0 stars)! The wings were spicy and good, I’d order it again(4 stars). The corn dog was good too, I liked the batter and the use of polish sausage(3 star if you like corn dogs) So, skip the appetizers, get the burgers. I loved my fig burger. It was juicy, cooked rare, just the right amount of lettuce, onions and fig sauce(others in my party wanted more fig flavor = 4 stars) Definitely order again. I asked for crispy fries. And got limp mushy fries. 0(zero) stars for fries. The bison burger had just the right amount of chili peppers and cheese, plus it was juicy, cooked medium(5 stars). The bone marrow was good, but i was expecting a little more flavor(4 stars). The blue cheese burger was average(3 stars). All in all, I would come back only for beer and burgers on their off hours to avoid the crowds. The service today was excellent. Our server was very attentive, friendly and efficient(5 stars)

This Eureka is located at the Hawthorne Airport. It is located outside of the airport itself in the hangar. You do not have to go through TSA screening to come here, since you cannot get to the airplanes from this restaurant. There are planes parked outside. You can also watch planes taking off and landing while eating here. We arrived at 11:30 and were promptly seated. It is important to beat the lunch rush here because a few minutes after being seated, the line was out the door because it was lunch time for Space X engineers. I ordered their hand sliced pork sandwich. The sandwich was full of moist pork. It was flavorful with the cheese and the pickled mustard seeds. Fries came along with the sandwich. The sandwich was good. 3.5 stars. I still prefer hamburgers from Eureka. Service was good. Our waitress was nice and friendly. She made sure that our cups were always full. Although this is their headquarters and tasting kitchen, our waitress told me that they do not serve their«test» food here. It is the same menu as all the other Eureka’s. It’s a nice and chill place where you can eat and watch the planes outside. The prices are normal, not like typical airport restaurants. I definitely would be back if I was in the area. Who knows? You might be able to meet a rocket scientist here.

Celebrated a friend’s b’day yesterday, a few of us arrived early to secure table space and it worked out well for our group that grew as the evening progressed. I was told that this place can get very crowded, fortunate for us it didn’t get slammed so it was easy to get wait service. I enjoyed a Racer 5 and one of the fried chicken sliders, the latter included a good zip of heat for this moderate spice man! My buddies seem to enjoy the happy hour menu items as all the plates were cleaned, I enjoyed the random airplanes rolling past the windows as they landed. There were a number of tv’s about so we could keep track of the NBA finals. Cozy place! Tough parking, vibe was worth the hassle and will make for an easy decision to return!
