All bad. I am so over this thing called eating right now. I just went to a restaurant and I am so close to writing a Unilocal review for them. Lets start off by saying that I’ve been to this restaurant before and the owner is extremely nice. Once I sat down he came in approach me and greeted me with the most kind words. I ordered water then my food. Once I got my food it tastes like bleach so I sent it back in the owner we cook my order with no problem. I found out that the problem was this restaurant uses way too much bleach to clean their dishes and they don’t dry them properly. I continue to eat my food and once I took my last bite a roach decided to crawl across the table. At this point I was seconds away from vomiting. I was so over my experience. I went ahead and paid for my food and left.

Best spot I’ve ate at in a while. The chicken taquitos are off the hook! Our order was for pick up and still tasted bomb. Great salsa and chips too!

We’ve been seeing this little place since we moved nearby about a year ago, usually because we are in the parking lot picking up Phở from a place a couple doors down. I usually don’t write reviews, but since we went here because of the Unilocal reviews I thought I owed it to them. While the décor is nothing to write home about, the food is awesome! We got a late lunch on a weekend, so there was only a couple other customers, but still everything tasted fresh and homemade. Salsa was perfect. We had a couple of the burritos, they were huge and delicious. I think we’ve found our new go-to place for Mexican food!

I walked in this restaurant with 10 other members of my family and surprisingly everything was perfect! The gentlemen Alfonso took excellent orders And there was no mistakes! The food was DELICIOUS and they have the best Horchata I have ever tasted. My children loved their menu and we will definitely be visiting a lot more !! Glad I found this place !!

This place is amazing! It’s authentic mexican food… just like mom makes it. Their chile relleno, huaraches, and shrimp cocktail are delicious. The owners are very friendly and courteous.

It has been a serious bummer moving away from Culver City and not being close to both EK Valley on Washington and Leo’s taco stand on La Brea and Venice. I missed their al pastor burritos like no other. I’ve tried others in the South Bay and nothing filled that void UNTIL we stopped here for a quick bite. I didn’t think much of the place. No one sitting inside, empty tables. We grabbed our food to-go; all I’m thinking is that my burrito«would do» as I drove my brother to the greyhound station, however, this thought quickly disappeared once I bit into my burrito. WHAT. THE. HELL. It was packed with meat, no need to go digging for the good stuff usually caught in the middle. Thank you burrito gods! Then I had the salsa! Spicy but perfect. I was in heaven then and I’m about to be in heaven now because I’M WAITINGFORANOTHERBURRITO!

Great Food and service is good. Forgot that it is cash only. So give them a try but don’t forget to bring your cash.

Not your average mom & pop Mexican place. One of their specialties is lamb — slow roasted with ‘secret spices’ but only served on the weekend. Eat it plain or stuff it in a tortilla with onions, lemon & cilantro — what a joy! This is reason enough to come here. Loved the super fresh guacamole and spicy salsa. Very extensive menu demands my return. The restaurant is in a tiny strip mall at the corner of Prairie and Marine — look for a donut shop at the very corner. You’ve got to try it, but hurry, hurry — after 13 years, owners want to sell the business. Get there while they’re still running the kitchen.

I have lived around the corner for months and never noticed this place. Im so glad we finally found it. Super good authentic Mexican food. Amazing house made horchata and great service. Couldn’t ask for more. I had the carne Asada plate and it was fantastic! Great chips and salsa too. We will definitely me back!

I live right by this place and never stopped in until about a month ago, now I go to no other Mexican Restaurant. Im Mexican and the food and ingrediants they use are all super authentic Mexican Food. Everything I have had so far is SUPERDELICIOUS! Im super Picky about Shrimp Cocktails and theirs is fantastic and huge. The shrimp is «cleaned»(which means they cut out the vein down the back) most places wont take the time to do that, quality. The Asada Burrito was superb. But my absolute favorite item on the menu is the Melanesa Torta, O. M. G. De-licious. Its huge also and can easily be shared by two people. It has Teledra bread, Melanesa, Tomato, Lettuce, Onion, Avacado, sliced Jalapenos and sliced«Queso Fresco» cheese. I have never ate at a Restaurant that actually used the Queso fresco cheese in a sandwhich, totally reminded me of my moms home cooked meals. This is the first review I have ever written and only because it really really deserves it. *** Note that the only 2 star review is because someone was upset that the place didnt open early enough for her to get food. Its that good that she was that upset by it.lol. I agree the hours of operation are not accurate on here though they dont open at 8:30am I tried calling them too.

I’m giving you 2 stars for 2 reasons. … #1 It’s 9:05am and you have yet to answer your telephone when you clearly state that you open your business at 8:30am. How hard is it for you to pick up the telephone to take a phone order? Come on! You’re killing me here. #2 your food is delicious but you are killing me with your fictitious hours of operation.

I’ve passed this place a bunch of times but never noticed it until i came across the reviews on Unilocal.Took the misses here for lunch today. Their chips and fresh salsa you get when you are waiting for your order were great. The salsa had a very good flavor with just the right amount of fire behind it. We got the carne asada torta and some barbacoa tacos. One bite and i was blown away. Im not a picky eater at all but it takes alot for food to impress me when I’m dining out. Alot of food you get when eating out is just OK. The wife on the other hand is very picky and she was thoroughly pleased with everything. As soon as i started eating I knew this would not be my last trip to this spot. Everything was very authentic, very well seasoned, and very delicious. Large portions too. The staff is very friendly and the service was top notch. I typically dont write reviews either but i had to share my experience with La Revolucion.

Best chilaquiles I’ve ever had in my life. I got them spicy. And boy oh boy were they spicy! I took one bite and had to stop just so I could write this review. If you are in the area PLEASE stop by. I will def be back to try more things on the menu. They say 1st impressions are always important, & the chilaquiles they served me today gave them flying colors.

If you are looking for truly authentic Mexican food… this is the place. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious but the enchiladas and caldo are my favorites.

(cross streets: Prarie Ave. and Marine Ave.) Authentic Cuisine of Mexico indeed! We were recommended by our friend to go here, and every visit is a superb experience! The food is always tasty, very flavorful, and fresh! They also serve chips and salsa… the salsa is very fresh too, I always ask for another serving! They offer pick-up orders and catering service too. I got to chat with one of the owners, Ms. Isabela(a very sweet beautiful lady) and found out that this is family owned, so from grandpa to grandchildren, manage and works here. Everyone is very friendly, always smiling & ready to give you the best service. I don’t know how to speak Spanish, but they are very open to any questions you might have from their menu. The place is very cozy and design-wise very mexican. =) This is also the very first Mexican food place I’ve been comfy with. I can’t recommend a favorite because everything we order here is fantastic! But I will leave you a few choices for starters: = Carne Asada Quezadilla = Chilaquiles Salsa Roja(add Bistek and eggs) = Chicken Gordita = Churasco Steak = Orange juice(freshly squeeze mind you!)
