Im not sure if they have new owners but the food tastes a little different but its still good. And i must add one of the girls that work there is really nice too! Order the shredded beef tacos you’ll be hooked!

Been coming here for years. Staff is nice and courteous all the time whether you dine in or take to go. They have a good variety of Mexican beer and the burritos are the best. They have specials all week long and happy hour Mon-​fri and they have a cool juke box as well. Will definitely keep coming back and I recommend it if you’re ever in the area.

Nice neighborhood restaurant. Good food, friendly service. Burritos are huge! We eat here about every 6 weeks when we feel like Mexican food. My boys enjoy the jukebox.

Best customer service hands down!!! I give credit where credit is due! We came here on total accident. Close by a regular establishment we were waiting to be seated at (won’t name any names) and was overly packed, we decided to checked out our local options. Rauls didn’t disappoint, and truly won us over!
Food was GREAT! I was surprised to find that i was paying more for a lesser meal when just around the corner was this little gem with wonderful customer service AND better food (shit i hate to say that but its true). Lean meat, great beer deals, wine, and NO wait during dinner hours! Can this seriously be real!!!
Driving up it looks like a simple, almost «Toms Burger place» ;-) but this little hole in the wall will definitely be our new regular go to!!!
Dinner Specs:
Supreme Burrito: hubby’s opinion «flavorful and moist»
Cheese quesadilla w/​veggies: my opinion «fresh veggies, excellent taste» (A+ custom ordered) …they will custom your dish even if its not on the menu, which is damn being vegitarian !!!
Taco Surpesa: Their version of a taco shell bowl (see pics): mother-in-law’s opinion «Original and very refreshing and authentic, will definitely have again and again»
Carne Asada Tacos: 4yr old opinion «this food is soooooooo yummy!!!»
(he also devours their chips and salsa, OMG which i do not have to say adds a MAJOR PLUS!!!
If your looking for a friendly hole in the wall that makes you feel like a 5 star restaurant, give this place a try! They have new servers but I will take sweet friendly attentive VIP service over, experienced overcrowded quick service… any day!
Total for meals AND 2 –LARGE glasses of wine AND their deal on 2– 24oz Modelo Especial = $ 77 seriously… WHAT THE EF!!! Ive paid more for crapy as* meals!!! Kudos for this little hole-in-the-wall…Ill be back, WATCH OUT :-)

Delicious authentic Mexican food. Had the Mexican pizza, Pazole, Carnitas, and enchiladas. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The only thing better than the food and Micheladas was the service. Friendly, attentive and made great suggestions. Highly recommend a trip to this place for sure.

Salsa is great. Chips are freshly made here. Ordered 2 burritos for us… they took a while to come out and then low and behold they were wrong. They got all the details right but managed to mix up the meats. Ugh… so back to the kitchen they go. Asked for water during this as well… water didn’t come. Finally our correct burritos arrive and they are delicious! My water also finally came with these burritos.
Over all the price is a little much for being normal/​good Mexican food. There are plenty other places to choose from
in this area… some with better service too.

Oh man. This is the saddest review I’ve ever had to write. I have been coming to this location for over 15 years and I am now watching it disintegrate. Prices increased, quality decreased. The person I was with ordered a burrito-​the beans were dry and had clearly been sitting out ALL day. The chips were cold and hard. The chile rellano tasted like it was wrapped in a thick egg pancake. It’s just sad to see a place I grew up at turn to a poor excuse for Mexican food. It’s unfortunate because the service and works are great and friendly, just the worst quality food.

I’ve had better! I felt sorry for the loan waiter. It took my food awhile to come out, then I specifically told him no rice, what do I get yes RICE. Too late I’m hungry. Won’t be back anytime soon. The waiter was great wasn’t his fault the chef can’t read. NO RICE NO RICE
TRY CASA GAMINO Mexican in IN PARAMOUNT. Be careful the chips are HOT.

So this is wonderful food served with a smile. Yes, friendly service makes a difference. This place is located in a tired old building but the inside is clean and comfortable. Parking is very limited so it’s best to park on the street where you shouldn’t have any problem.
The food is consistently good here. I’d like to see the rice a little more tender with a boost in flavor. The refried beans are good and even better with melted cheese on top. The enchiladas are very tasty and a lot of that comes from the sauce they use which is really delicious. If you’re a fan of salsa you’ll enjoy their offering.
Rounding out the other choices I’ve made, the tacos are OK and the burritos are large and in charge (oh, I know that makes you wince).
You’re two major blocks from the 405 when you need to make your getaway.

Love this place! Lots of memories here. Been coming here since I can remember and I’m 36 years old! I now bring my kids and husband here any chance we get we live close to Orange County now but still still come down to Raul’s

Old school restaurant since 1972. I went for dinner and ordered the popular Supreme Burrito and requested the hottest chili. It was hot alright and very delicious, next time I will ask for the chili on the side. The service is fast and friendly and they seem to get plenty of regulars flowing through here. I also ordered to go a plate of chicken taquitos which comes with beans and rice, shredded beef taco, and an horchata for a coworker. He loved the taco and horchata, he said it reminded him of his mothers cooking.

I ate here once as a kid, before going to the dentist or doctor. I was around 8 yrs old, so I just remember sitting at the counter and eating a taco. My mom took me and didn’t order anything for herself. It was pretty good, but I never seemed to go back until 2 months ago.
The same family owns it and the food was good. I ordered chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. The server is the daughter of the owner and was also quite attractive, lol. You can tell when somebody is the owner, because of their knowledge and how much they care about the guests.
I drive by quite often, so I will start eating there more often.

Rauls is the best Mexican spot I go to around my area they’re food is bombacious the salsa is on point n the service is flawless. Actually waiting for them to open to go eat there today

Sorry I’m done. Last 2 visits my order for guacamole resulted in a small bowl of mashed avocado. No lime. No cilantro. No salt. No tomato. No onion. Just avocado.
If the kitchen doesn’t care why should I? Shame, because the owners are good people.

Awesome salsa, and the carnitas are to die for;
For lunch I either split the burrito supreme with a coworker or get 2 tacos and make 3 – 4 out of it as they overload it with meat.

Being temporarily unable to drive due to illness and bothered by aggressive withdrawals for a good Mexican meal (while knowing our favorite place doesn’t deliver), we turned to Unilocal and for the first time chose a restaurant based on 1) Unilocal ratings and 2) if they deliver.
Unilocalers! You did not let us down and we have found a new regular Mexican place! We prefer our food authentic and are super picky as a family but this place hit the spot presenting favorites (chicken tacos, carnitas and quesadillas) just the way we hoped they’d taste and delivering a salsa with new levels of flavors.
We look forward to actually visiting the restaurant once I am driving again!

Raul’s is a good place for Mexican food. While there are tons of options around this area, this place isn’t too bad. I’ve only been here once, and I am a fan. The chips they bring you with the salsa is pretty good. The chips are well salted, and the salsa, a little spicy, had lots of stuff in it. Not just tomatoes.
I tried the carnitas quesadilla and the chile relleno with rice and beans.
The carnitas quesadilla was a pretty good size, and I liked that it came with good guacamole and sour cream. The guac went well with the quesadilla and the chips.
The rice and beans that came with the chile relleno was your standard rice and beans. I like the rice they serve at Teresa’s Mosaic Café in El Segundo more. There rice here was a little bit harder. The chile relleno was good, much better than the one at Frijoles. Don’t get the chile relleno at Frijoles. It was a good size, with enough sauce although it could have used a little more salt. I guess it’s good it came out that way, so you could customize it to how ever you want it. Salty or unsalty. There also wasn’t too thick of a slab of cheese in the chile relleno. I would order this dish again!
Their albondingas soup was also good. It looked like a basic soup with meatballs, carrots, celery, and onions but it was so much more. The soup was well spiced, and the vegetables were nice and soft.
Parking: They have a small parking lot for their store, and it easily fits about 8 or so cars, but there’s also easy to find street parking.
Service: Service here was great! Ivan was super attentive.
