Spice Island

Dang it if I can’t ever be first to review. Oh well, I can settle for second :)
I had the tofu satay at Spice Island and it was pretty darn tasty. Not sure if the 12 tofu balls are worth 6 bucks but I guess they have to pay for the shiny new truck somehow. And admittedly it is pretty cool – they’ve got lowered windows all along the side so you can see your food being made.
For a place called ‘Spice Island’ you would expect it to be spiced to perfection and I can’t say I was disappointed, especially the dipping sauce it came with (although the goopy consistency makes me NOT want to know how it’s made!). The «salad» was just some iceberg lettuce & diced tomatoes, but I guess it didn’t need much else.
Short story: I’ll come back again but hope they bring the price down a bit… I’m still hungry and I want more!

I had the Spicy Pork Sate, it was very good and 4 skewers were only $ 5.50. The service was quick and the staff was friendly!
