PROS Stylist gave me a good cut
CONS Not men friendly, small, unprofessional, lack of customer service, small place, parking is crowded, gossipy workers,
Small local place. Everyone in there seemed to know each other. I walked in becauseI started my own hair cut but needed help with the back :) I walked in and all the gossip and noise seemed to stop, apparently they mostly deal with regulars or recommendations. I asked the girl at the front how much a man’s hair cut was and she didn’t seem to know. She had to ask everyone in there and a woman who seemed to be in charge told her 13. I seriously feel like she made up the number up on the spot. There were other men in there sitting waiting for their wives but they must be regulars apparently. I felt ostracized a bit. Perhaps they should work on their customer service skills. I was helped out by Martha who was really nice and was able to help me out. She cleaned up my cut from the back and gave me some tips to make it nicer next time if I continue cutting my own hair. They mostly take cash but accepted my atm and added a $ 2 surcharge. Again my simple easy hair cut turned out to be more expensive than typical cuts in the area. This business perhaps relies on regulars but from what I could tell it is nowhere near at least medium level of service, but the people there seemed to enjoy their work and it wasn’t empty. To each their own, but won’t be going back any time soon.
