I received a call this morning from someone who identified herself as the«director» of this facility, notifying me that my uncle, who is currently in an acute care hospital, was being discharged to Windsor Gardens Convalescent Center. This was news to me, as my uncle’s condition has recently worsened and he is in no condition to be discharged. This, of course, sent me into a panic. The«director» informed me that the director of my uncle’s hospital had asked her personally to have him transferred today. She then commenced to tell me she had researched his care history(which she was not authorized to do) and give me a lot of information about Medicare and Medi-Cal that I knew was inaccurate, as we have been working with an elderly care attorney. This facility is completely unethical and tries to poach patients from other facilities without knowing about their condition or situation. Shame on you. If at any point my uncle is in a position to be transferred anywhere, you can rest assured we will be staying FAR away from this place. Despicable.

I would not send my dog to this place. The food isn’t fit for pigs. they are slow on the patients requests. They prevent people from leaving just to make money

My mother’s missing teeth… I thought it was interesting that the outgoing message for Windsor Gardens tells all callers that residents can have PERSONALITEMS to make them FEELCOMFORTABLE. My mother however was unable to keep even her own teeth during her stay at Windsor. This impacts her ability to eat and speak, but no one noticed she no longer had them and someone either had to steal them or throw them away also without noticing. They are not useful to anyone but her and are not worth anything on the«black market» that I would imagine.
