This is one of the worst wss’s I’ve ever been too the fucking security guard racial profiling following me and my friend all over the store smh I wanted to buy some adidas but no one helped me out manager finally came thru looking like a fucking bum stains all on his shirt and shit ol dirty mothafucka I need to go to footlocker

This place is a joke when it comes to their employees and security. They are never attentive and very rude specially the girls in the register. The security acts like it’s a high end jewelry store and you are just the for stealing. I haven’t gone back for that reason.
But for the shoes, there is always good deals specially in the kids section. Their clearance walls has some good prices. The clothing is okay, a bit overpriced for the quality.

I used to shop here as a kid but they don’t have no Jordan’s no more. The sneakers go so fast it’s not even funny. If your looking for puma shoes or chucks they have them but if your wanting Jordans NOPE

WSS in Hawthorne is located right on Hawthorne Blvd. Super convenient location on busy Hawthorne, easy to find, and only about 15 – 20 min from most south bay and wla residents.
Selection: really good, I’m kinna a male ho bag when it comes to shoes and I was totally in trouble at this place, actually started a pile of boxes at the counter because I couldn’t carry ‘em all. Got me some Chuck’s, Jordan’s & FILA’s, almost pulled trigger on some other’s but was getting overstimulated and needed to rest before I could get it up again for shoe shopping, so to speak :)
Only reason not I’m not giving 5 stars… yep, parking… mer:(

If you’re like me and couldn’t care less about the most popular sneaker everyone’s wearing or would rather pluck out your eyebrow hairs one by one than wait in line for the newest Jordans, then WSS is for you.
Need an awesome pair of Nikes, but don’t want to spend 100 bucks? WSS has got you covered. Granted, the sneakers may be a season behind, but they’re still very cool looking sneakers and you’ll get them for about 20% less than the Nike store. Don’t want Nikes? They also have your standard name brand sneakers as well as Vans. They also have non-​brand sneakers and shoes for the more budget conscious or those who couldn’t care about labels.
Work boots, soccer cleats, soccer balls, backpacks, sandals, heels, wedges, workout clothes, fashionable clothes for women! There is definitely a wide variety of stuff to choose from. The store isn’t that large, however. This is definitely a place to go to for shoes and not clothes… but you can always check out the clothes while you’re there.
The staff is very friendly. Be sure to check-​in on your Unilocal app when you walk in! They almost ALWAYS give you a discount coupon with your check-​in (usually $ 10 off your purchase of 50 or more). Not too shabby!
I’m a bit of a gym rat and need to replace my sneakers often. WSS is my go-​to every time.

Went looking for a cute pair of cheap boots and found them! Lots of boot styles to choose from as well as other types of women’s shoes including flats, wedges and heels. They even sell some women’s clothing for those interested.

Clueless staff. The sales girl in the kids’ section wins the prize. They shouldn’t be wearing shirts that advertise great service.

Love the Customer Service At this Store. Unlike the Store in Wilmington you actually get people to assist you when your carelessly looking for what you need. Yes, im that person that has that confused look when looking through sizes styles and all the other gibberish that come with self serve retail stores. Yes, i know it was in front of my face but i missed it, however thanks to the staff i was able to get the style and size i wanted and out the door in minutes. The one thing i hate is being in a store for to long. Not a shopper always know what im getting and im in and out. Im to cheap and im not that patient when it comes to shopping. Ive always been in and out. So thank you for speeding up my proccess and making my shopping experience delightful.
I love their selections here, many different styles, sizes then most of the other retail stores i been to. (i like their maze like set-​up …yeah i know random but me likey arot!!!) Great clearance section for those looking for a bargain.
I have also notice that this location gets pretty back in the afternoon.
