Nothing special, customer service could be upped a notch, very bland. Not worth the price.

We recently moved to the area and happened upon this cupcake shop. Now I am a baker myself, so my standards are pretty high. This place is so cute! They have great service, a great selection of food, drink, and of course cupcakes! I have only had their cupcakes, so this review won’t be on their food or drinks. We have tried the triple chocolate, PB&J, caramel banana, red velvet(with cream cheese frosting), vanilla almond, key lime coconut, peanut butter cup, and s’mores. I have to say they are all fantastic, and what’s even better is the price. They are your standard sized cupcakes and they are only $ 3 each which is perfect. Some gourmet cupcake shops charge so much for 1. The cake is moist, and almost every single frosting I have tried is light and fluffy, not grainy. You must, must try these!!!

So glad a local business deliver on quality! So I’m pretty much a confessed choco-holic(like eating a pound of dark chocolate is no problem at all). Their Triple chocolate cupcake is divine and if it wasn’t for health reasons, I would seriously eat 2 a day no joke. The Red Velvet is delicious too(because it’s really chocolate) and go with the cream cheese frosting since it has much more flavor and pairs much better in my opinion. I’m not a huge fan of the Oreo frosting but the cake part is probably just as good if not better than the triple chocolate. If you are in the area please stop by this little gem… you won’t regret it.

Very, very good! I got 4 cupcakes to give this place an honest try: Carrot Cake: I’m usually a big fan, but this one kind of disappointed. The flavor of the cream cheese icing and actual cake was awesome, I just think carrot cake should have texture and walnuts. It was just a good cake. Triple chocolate: amaaaaazing! Cookies and cream: amaaaazing! Strawberry shortcake: just ok. I didn’t really get to eat a lot of this one(as my 3YO devoured it) but from what I tasted it was good. I almost wish the frosting on it was whipped cream instead of just icing. All of the cupcakes were incredibly moist and fresh. Will definitely return to experiment with more flavors.

It is difficult to rate one cupcake bakery over another so it’s the small things that make them different. The cake itself was quite good and the PB n J cupcake was very amazing. The frosting was lighter than I have had in the past which made it easier to devour… My only reason to give this business 4 stars was the price… 4 cupcakes for $ 12 and change is too much to charge in my opinion. I frequent another cupcake bakery and for four cupcakes it is under $ 10. I was also surprised that I was given the option to tip… At $ 12 already, asking for a tip for cupcakes already made is crazy. What am I tipping for? Putting them in a box?

Usually these are the best cupcakes! I got one Monday that seemed to have been a little stale already I was disappointed but I will go here again. Hopefully no more stale cupcakes.

Let me start out by saying(or writing) that I don’t like sponge cake. Or buttercream frosting. So basically, I don’t like cupcakes. At least I didn’t until I tasted a triple chocolate cupcake from Cupcake Heaven. It was a thing of beauty. Moist cake that wasn’t too sweet and not too much frosting. I ate the whole thing, which was a first for me. I decided to expand my horizons and try a peanut butter cup cupcake a few weeks later. Bad idea! It was exactly the reason I don’t like cupcakes — dry cake with a massive amount of sickly sweet frosting. No different from Georgetown Cupcakes, Red Velvet Cupcakery, or Crumbs — all places I could only manage to choke down one bite of a cupcake. Prices are comparable to the places previously mentioned, so I don’t find them to be out of line. Service is aloof — not so much as to be rude, but could definitely use some improvement. The seating area is welcoming and cozy. The gift shop in front is incongruous at best, and really adds a weird vibe to an otherwise adorable environment. I’d like to try the red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting at some point, but even if it’s more like the peanut butter cup than the triple chocolate, I’ll still be back just for that triple chocolate! I was thinking of giving 3 stars because of the flaws, but that triple chocolate cupcake is worth 5 stars, so 4 it is.

I love this place! The cupcake flavors are creative and there is always a great selection. The cupcake cake is moist and the icing is rich with flavor. I ordered a dozen — 3 of each: apple spice, cookies and cream, Southern red velvet, and fluffernutter. I personally tried the cookies and cream and the fluffernutter… OMG to die for. The inside of the shop is cute with some retail items. The seasonal display(Valentine’s) was very sweet and they had neat/different things. The shop also has a coffee bar. I had a plain coffee, my mom had a cappuccino, and my cousin had a Chai latte. We all really enjoyed our drinks very much. The staff is very friendly. I will definitely go back!

We checked out Cupcake Heaven for the 1st time today and so glad we did! It was our lucky day as they are usually closed on Sundays. Nothing but the smell of sweet goodness as you enter the café. My family and I will definitely be back!

I wish I could give 4.5 stars. The place is so quaint and comfortable. The only reason I would take half a star is because the cake part of my cupcake tasted only slightly stale. But honestly for little old Haymarket VA this place is a gem. The coffee is great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Comfortable spot to sit down and enjoy an after dinner treat and coffee with the fam.

What a cute local shop! I had the Southern Red Velvet cupcake and a Chai latte and both were spectacular! Such a nice place to spend a quiet afternoon reading a book and relaxing. They even have a range of things to buy such as jewelry and small treasures.

After driving past this place for 6 months I decided it was time to go in and have a cupcake. Boy am I glad I did. I ordered a few flavors but I have to say that the Red Velvet cupcake is the best I’ve had in a long time. My husband is a red velvet lover and is picky when it comes to flavor. He too agreed that it was the best he’s had in a long time. The cupcakes are moist and full of flavor and seriously, how cute are they? Even the shop is cute! I’ll definitely visit again.

One of my bridesmaids had a cake made for my bridal shower and it not only gorgeous but delicious! The caked looked absolutely stunning and tasted delectable! We had an almond with raspberry filling on the bottom and lemon cake with lemon filling for the skirt(see picture) the cake was so moist and fresh tasting, it was a huge hit at my shower! We will be coming here for all our cupcake needs! Thank you for such a wonderful cake!

This was the food-pinnacle of our trip! The shop was so cute and the staff(of 2) was gorgeous and so friendly. The cupcakes are displayed in their own little glass enclosures and have cute names like«Fluffernutter». We bought a dozen which totaled about $ 35.00 and were absolutely the cutests when packaged! I picked 2 out of the 12 — Butter Pecan and Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting(mmhmm). Now I know Red Velvet is like the Southern Cake staple however it can be done so WRONG I rarely eat it — but i am a sucker for cream cheese in anything! The Butter Pecan cup cake was wonderful. I did taste a little more than my share of baking soda/powder which was interesting on the first bite, However with the buttercream icing with cinnamon it was great. The Red Velvet was my favorite(I could eat 10 of them!) The Red Velvet cup cake was moist and sweet and the Cream Cheese frosting actually tasted like Cream Cheese without being overly cheesy. My husband was cupcake wasted and it was great!

Helped me out when I was in a real bind. Needed 10 dozen cupcakes in a matter of hours & they filled my order, no problem! Everyone loved the cupcakes and assortment of unique flavors! Will definitely be back. Atmosphere inside is also super cute! Looks like a great place to grab a coffee and a cupcake and read the newspaper.

I like this cupcake shop and used to frequent every week to work while my daughter worked down the road. Free wifi and comfy seats. It’s been four years since that time however. I usually just pop in for a treat to take to someone. I find the cakes moist and like the fillings. I rarely buy the regular flavors. I always go for speciality ones. They are moist and have a cool filling. My fave is the pink champagne and the peanut butter cup. You can see the weekly flavors on display and next weeks is posted on an upcoming board. Also their web site features the info as well. I don’t buy too many coffee drinks but occasionally get a latte and it is good. I don’t like super sweet so usually stick to plain coffee with a treat for a balance. This is a mom and pop shop. I do think regulars go everyday and you might be intimidated by this. I am not and I am okay if you don’t know my name. True girl who worked the Tuesday shift four years ago was awesome to me. Be prorated because sometimes non regulars are just handled. It’s off setting to some who want the same friendly server they saw greeting that regular. It has to be earned. If you don’t care come for the cake and be satisfied.

One day my fiancé and I decided to go into cupcake heaven to check it out. Although we would have loved to have tried their cupcakes, we had just eaten lunch but we did get coffee after perusing about the little shop. Aside from the smell when you first walk in, it’s adorable! I can’t quite put my finger on what the smell is but it was the strangest thing. You’d expect to walk into a cupcake place and fall in love with the smell of baked goods. Opposite. It made me want to leave. There are tons of cute little things to buy from unique cards for any occasion, to adorable birthday invitations. There was also jewelry, handmade items, and some cute little trinkets. If you’re ever looking for a gift for someone this is a good place to go. As we were getting ready to leave we decided to get a coffee. I decided to get iced caramel latte and it was terrible. I threw it away after 2 – 3 sips. I’ll never get that again. I will say they had really good straws. Very similar to chick fil a straws, good girth.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I really want to love it! The shop is super cute and makes a great place to hang out. The employees have been very friendly and nice. I bake A LOT so I guess I am pretty critical about baked goods. With work I haven’t had the time to bake as much as I would like lately and I was really craving a good cupcake so I decided to stop in. Sadly I have to say I’m not actually the biggest fan of their cupcakes. The cake portion is quite yummy. Very moist and good flavor. But so moist that they don’t hold their form and are pretty hard to eat if you are not eating with a fork. Most if not all of them are filled, which I’m not crazy about. But sadly of all the frosting leaves a weird after taste. A little off putting. And they PILE on the frosting. I ended up just eating the cake portion of the two cupcakes, throwing out the frosting I bought because I disliked it so much. I’ve only been twice and the cupcakes were the same each time. So I will be pretty hesitant to try them again. But I will give them at least one more shot to try some of their sandwiches that look good. I’ll update when I get around to doing that, hopefully with good news!

I had been meaning to try Cupcake Heaven for a long time, and I was not disappointed! Their cupcakes are absolutely divine! My favorites so far are the Almond Raspberry, Margarita, Fluffer Nutter, and the Pink Champagne cupcake. The frostings are sweet, airy, and just the right amount. The cake is always moist and flavorful. I really like the weekly specials idea. It’s nice to mix up the menu, so it doesn’t get boring. Onto the drinks, I’ve had the espresso, a cappuccino, and an iced chai latte. The chai was a little too heavy on the milk/cream, but the flavor was nice and spicy. The espresso and cappuccino were excellent! The owner and her staff make sure you get exactly what you want, and that you are happy with your order before you leave. The only negatives I can think of are the price, and the fact that if I eat a cupcake a day I may need to go live at sea world for awhile. The one good thing about the price is that you get 10% off if you buy a dozen cupcakes. They also have a rewards program. You get a free cupcake with $ 5 purchase after 10 visits. It’s nice that they have a rewards program but I wish it was a little more rewarding.(For example, if I bought a dozen cupcakes for 10 visits that would come up to around $ 300! For spending that much, I think the reward should be half a dozen cupcakes for every 10 visits, or 1 free cupcake every 3 visits. Or maybe have the amount of free cupcakes be based on how many cupcakes you have already bought. Just a suggestion in case the owner happens to be reading.)
