Guy was on his cell phone, I was obviously interrupting him Nd he made that clear. 5 packs of swishers are labeled «5 for the price of 3», but they’re $ 4, not $ 3.24. When I tried to explain why I was confused by this he was adamant that 3x$ 1.08=$ 4. So whatever I won’t come back.

7 Star Food Store gets many stars for convenience. except for Food Souce and Chavez Super, few other options available. unfornately, their grocey and brews are pricey. mexican veggies (2.99). pork and beans (2.99) 22oz. microbrews $ 1 or 2 pricier.
buys: Fosters (1.99)
–only single priced, 6 paks, 22 oz. all overpriced.
on draught:
–too pricey to return.
–tight parking lot.

Come here every time in I’m Hayward to by by hard alcohol, nicest staff.
Steve the young gentleman that works there remembers me after like my first visit. I would go months without going back and when I do he clearly remembers our last conversation and we pick up on the small talk like we just saw each other yesterday.
Great grab and go liquor store.

I use to visit this store on a regular basis and I know if I go back there, the customer service is GREAT… but like the other reviews, I sometimes will roll right by and go somewhere else if I see all sorts of peeps in the front… not that I am frightened BUT I just don’t want to deal with the extra drama on my way in OR out. I have been a close friend of the owner and he has always been very accommodating and friendly. I don’t live in the area any longer so I go somewhere else but when I am in the area and want to pick up some special spirit, I will stop at 7 Star.

I go here to get my ciggs, although the store is very clean and well organized, their prices are relatively high especially for ciggs. You could go down industrial and find cheaper ciggs at the first gas station on your right. The staff is super freindly and helpful though, i just wish they didnt charge a fee for using your credit card and i wish their cigarette prices were cheaper.

I love this place. For the 12+ years I have been living in Hayward, this is my first place I go to for whatever I could possibly need when it came to snacks, dairy products, juice, pet food, ice, etc, they had it for me.
The staff are very friendly; I know them on a more personal basis and they are always smiling no matter what time of day but of course, keep things professional.
I do, however, really dislike the loitering. It makes me quite uneasy even if it is broad daylight. They so have a sign for no loitering and the fact that people still do tells me that they need to be a little more tight about this.
But overall, you usually go and get out; quick and convenient.

I come to this place on occasions, its convenient due to it being near my house and on the the way to the freeway. Down side is the parking is small due to the plaza and other stores, and the people that are NOT suppose to be loitering are pretty f-​ing ghetto. Every time I come in I seem to always get some stares which is pretty uncomfortable. There is signs saying that there isnt suppose to be loitering but they do it anyways, kinda unwelcoming — — –Oh well. But the the store is really accommodating with variety of options/​items. The main dude at the counter is very cool, always a pleasant person to talk to and get customer service.
