It was applebees… I went on a thursday evening to wait out the rush hour commute traffic and ordered the«pick 2» bar bites(chicken wings and nachos) for $ 9 and the bahahama mama, which was an all-day special for $ 4 I was actually impressed by the quality of the wings… they were much better than I’d expected… The bartender made my drink well and was such a sweetheart! I’m surprised by the negative reviews for this place as my experience was great. I mean its Applebess(a cheap chain bar and grill)… you can’t reallly go in with high expectations to begin with…

Always slow service. not too impressed by the food. I do have my favorite though, the lemon cedar grilled chicken. Very good. They are pretty cheap which is good, my problem with this place is the slow service, along with a few very bad experiences.

this was one of the worst experiences in my life. Everything really sucked! My hubby and I went to have a nice Friday night out and we decided to come here. The Sangria drink that I ordered was nasty and was missing flavor. Once our food was given. I was totally disappointed. Nothing in the stuff we ordered was good, nothing. I mean how can someone mess up steamed broccoli? Are you kidding me? Anyways I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It all sucked! My hubby’s food was also terrible. Overcooked baby racks! Now the worst part comes. our bad server came by to drop off the bill. We decided to pay at the mini tables that are on the tables. I paid my balance and it was time to leave. As we are approaching my car in the parking lot, my server screamed at us in front of the other people yelling that I had not paid my bill!!! How embarrassing! How can someone yell that out with out FIRST verifying if the bill was paid or not. I went back in and showed her that I had paid my bill and she was telling me that I had paid for the wrong order. She was forcing me to pay for an order that wasn’t mine! I was really upset! This server was not doing her job correctly and made the restaurant look even worse!!! For sure I made it very clear that I had paid my bill, showed it to her and walked out! I will not be back again in the nasty/unpleasant place ever! To my fellow Unilocalers watch out for this place!

Gross!!! I ordered three cheese penne pasta. All I got was dry pasta with tomato and small shreds of cheese. I kid you not there was no sauce. Also it was suppose to come with bread and I didn’t get that either. Eat here if you want to be served dry pasta by a sorry chef & terrible management. I use to love their food, but now it’s horrible! Fast food is better!

When we came to order to go the server was very unpleasant he was very short with me during a conversation but other guests he went out of his way to make comfortable in front of me so that was a little odd. We ordered ribs and fries and left immediately after we paid and got the order. Extremely hungry and anxious to eat when we went to open up the order which I wish I checked before leaving the ribs were burnt and the fries were a little warm and less than a handful. I was wondering if we had half the order of fries and a rushed order of ribs. Our experience was very unfortunate!!!

This goes for all Applebee’s. This brand has gone down so low. The service is the worst. Some of the food is OK to good. But when you have such bad service, that over shadows everything else in my opinion. Just sitting here trying to endure the torture until this review process is done.

Not bad. Not great. Wanted to go to Panera bread next door, but these guys had parking. My last experience at this place(8 years ago) was terrible. This time was much better but I still was not satisfied. I had a burger and fries. My wife has a philly sandwich and chips. She got a single order for onion soup and we shared a artichoke dip with some chips. The bill came went over $ 44(!). And this is the first place in years I was charged for carbonated water(!). The serve time was ok. The food wasn’t bad but was pricey. Idk if I’ll come back – maybe in another 8 years…

I’ve tried to like this spot. I’ve always like the food at Applebee’s but this location is slow and never gets it right. I waited for a manager for over 30 minutes and she tried to apologize for the poor service, but the problem is that the service here is NEVER good. Even when they aren’t busy, the waitstaff spends more time talking to one another than they do checking on their customers. Shame

The customer service was the worst ever! Karen took my order over the phone when I went I picked up the order I was in a hurry so I didn’t check my order before I left. When I got home I noticed my order was incorrect. I called to complain about my concern I didn’t receive any sympathy or apology. I’m going to reach out to the district manager about their customer service because it was unacceptable I will never go there to eat early morning lunchtime or late at night! Dear management you need to train your employees about customer service. World-class customer service is the best customer service and unfortunately your employees know nothing about it! PS if it was up to me they would get no stars zero nada!

Slow, customer service was slow, food was slow. I ordered appetizers of the boneless chicken and the 4 cheese Mac and cheese with the chicken tenders. Mac and cheese only has one type of cheese, and it was cold. My babes good came out hot and fresh and sooo good. He had the sirloin 7 Oz steak, mashed potatoes and veggies. I ate his veggies and half of his steak. The hunger. Only thing left to do now is take it home and remix this Mac and cheese. I’m disappointed

Not set up for To Go business. No place inside specific to To Go orders. To Go order not done as specified in the on-line order… Now more than 15 minutes late… Triple Hog Dare Ya is not worth the money and in no way resembled the sandwich depicted — no onion straws to be found and seriously undercooked bacon! Same goes for the Brew Pub Philly… No jalapeños found in this one. The Sweet Asian Pineapple Burger was a sad little burger, this miniature burger($ 11.) was smaller than the Big Mac… and none of the pineapple was actually in the burger as it is described, slapped on top. Overall the experience was a flat zero! Will I go back… absolutely not to this Southland Dr location. Too expensive for the mess we got!

AWFULSERVICE. Food was okay, but took forever. The only good thing about this place was the friendly people at the tables on either side of us. Other than that, this place was really not worth the visit. We were seated and it took a while for our waitress to ask for our drinks. When she did, we were ready to order, but she left too quick for us to tell her. Then when we did order, we waited about 45 minutes and they forgot someone’s order at our table, so she got it when everyone else had finished their own. Not once were we asked how we were doing or even if we wanted refills on our drinks(I asked for my own refill). I tried to let them redeem themselves because they said free mozzarella sticks if they don’t suggest a gift card to us. I asked and apparently, it’s only after we get the check and the waiter I asked suggested it. This place is built upon lies.

Applebee’s usually ain’t my thing and I would prefer chilis but this time the food was actually good. We were seated right away and our waitress was nice. Hubby had the steak with shrimp and garlic mashed potatoes and I had the maple bacon chicken wrap which was yummy too. We shared the salsa verde nachos that had a good flavor. Don’t care about coming back as the options don’t really call me lol it’s just whatever lol

Hmmmm– hostess gave 15 minute wait and it wasn’t busy. Went to the restroom, no paper towels. Ordered appetizers /they didn’t look anything like picture on menu, changed for a different appetizer … Ditto(see pics). Ordered mojito, took 15 minutes(again not busy) Ordered salad — took 1 ½ hours. Didn’t taste good and hardly any chicken. Sad that I had to set a timer and had to threaten to walk out if I didn’t have my lunch in five minutes … I think if I didn’t I would have still been waiting for it. After all that — I was presented with a bill with no apologies. Asked for Manager as did the table behind me for the same reasons incidentally. Manager did discount the salads which was nice but I wish I just had a nice lunch … Without the wait and disappointments. Don’t think I’ll be back.
