Bae’s Magic Top Hat Rabbitry

So, its been 2 weeks since we had Noodles. She has settled in nicely in her new home with us. Eating alfalfa hay, pellets, drinking her water, pooping and peeing in her litter box. I think I can safely say she is pretty much potty trained as most of her poop and pee is in her litter box.
Noodles shares a room with my daughter and I was worried about the size we need for a bunny because I was told that bunnies need a good amount of space. Noodles is most active at 5:30am and 11pm, literally running around in her 4×4 dog pen we created for her. Glad we didn’t go with a hutch or bunny crate as we were told Netherland Dwarf bunnies are more active than all the other bunnies. So if you are thinking about getting a bunny, don’t just stick them in a crate or hutch all day just cause they are small and you don’t think they need space. THEY DO!
Happy to report… Noodles is always doing her «bunny 500″(happily running around fast… hence the reason for a 4×4 pen), «binkies”(happy hops) and laying like a «lambchop”(happy relaxed) so we know she is happy.

Turns out this place is legit and has really caring people working here! Would totally buy from here! They have some of the best rabbits in the United States. My daughter wants them all! Ask for the owner she is very helpful and made up for a past mishap from a former employee… Just make sure you call the right number lol. 5 stars very accommodating!

I recently purchased two Dwarf Lionheads for our children. They kids have already shown us to be responsible pet owners and have raised other animals. Within a week of taking the bunnies home, we had an issue with one of the rabbits and had to get help. The owners of Bae’s Rabbity were very concerned with the health of our rabbits and even offered to have me come right over to have them checked out late at night. They clearly care about the health and well being of the animals.
New Owners: Make sure you watch your new bunny carefully when you bring it home… as they should be eating, drinking and pooping all the time. If they look like they stop eating or drinking for any reason, contact Bae’s Rabbity or your local Vet right away. Rabbits are more fragile than you think.

Found Bae’s Magic Top Hat from Hoobly Classifieds and immediately squealed (maybe, a binky too) in finding the cutest lion heads I’ve laid eyes on!
I realized that the rabbity is located in California. Seriously a bummer, since I’m all the way in Illinois! Still intrigued, I checked their website and found a vast amount of information on properly caring for a rabbit, proof that they are registered breeders, and all in all, lets you know that they are very knowledgable breeders, who are passionate about their bunnies.
Later on, I discovered that they just started to ship bunnies within the United States! I texted for more information and received an immediate response from Blanca. As we talked more and more, I followed through with the whole process. Yes, it requires a WHOLE process, with important things to consider before deciding to ship a rabbit. There are airline requirements of proper kennel size with food, water, labels, modifying the kennel for metal screws, and a health certificate. Also, fees for dropping off the bunny at the airport and the cargo price for the flight, which in total ends up being costly. Aside from the cost, I was more concerned with the bunny arriving safely in Chicago. Well, little Makiyato did, safe and sound. I couldn’t be happier!
Blanca was very accommodating and helpful throughout this whole experience. I highly recommend Bae’s Magic Top Rabbity for their distinctive bunnies and for their customer service.

This review is long overdue! I have the pleasure of adopting a Dwarf Holland Lop from Bae’s Magic Top Hat Rabbitry! I had researched multiple rabbitry’s in my area and according to their website, they seem to be the most knowledgeable about rabbits in general. Through their website, it is clear that they will guide you through everything, especially if it is your first time owning a bunny (which I was before I got Ollie from them). Blanca, the owner has been the best! She is quick in responding to my emails and text messages. She isn’t annoyed with the millions of questions I had for her before adopting and even after adopting. She is also very flexible with her schedule! My work and school schedule can be crazy at times and she was very accommodating!
When I created an instagram for my bunny, she followed and I had posted a video of him sneezing. I didn’t know that something was wrong but she immediately contacted me to see if I could go to her to have him vaccinated for the snuffles. I was so happy that she had so much concern for the bunnies after they have been adopted. He is now much better and not sneezing nonstop. I am so thankful for her always being available to me even after the adoption. Most breeders just try to sell you a bunny and don’t really care about following up or other «little» things. I would highly recommend them if you are interested in getting a bunny. My bunny is almost 3 months old and very cute, if you want to see what he looks like:

We could not be happier about our our experience with the rabbitry in general and our baby bunny in particular. As a new parent, of course we had a bazillion QUESTIONS about Dwarf Holland Lops even before we decided to bring her home. Bianca has been nothing short of extremely generous and patient with my many emails and text messages. She has helped us with everything from finding the right cage, to giving us resources for where to get the baby spayed. Since we have brought our bunny home, Bianca has answered a number of text messages almost instantaneously. Over the past three weeks since we brought our female Dwarf Holland Lop home, she has grown more comfortable with us then we could have imagined. She is very inquisitive, enthusiastic and ridiculously adorable. She has already interacted with a six year old whose lap she immediately jumped right into. All of the care and tips Baes Magic Top Hat have provided — in person, on their website and via text — are certainly to thank for a lot of our bunny’s health and happiness.

A review is long overdue for this Rabbitry. I purchased two dwarf bunnies back in 2013 from Bae’s Magic Top Hat. At that time, I thought the price was a bit high just for a rabbit and I also had my concerns purchasing from a breeder. Blanca was very informative and helpful that I’ve never lost contact with her and ask her questions to this day. I not only got lifetime support, but a lifetime health guarantee as well. She always knows where to go if you want to get your cage for cheap or simply fix them for a low cost. It’s been well over 2 ½ years and my bunnies are healthy and overall docile personalities. They have never shown any signs of aggression whatsoever. I have other pets in the house and they seem to get along fine as well which is a big plus for me. I’ll be heading back next month go get my nephew a pair of bunnies for his 6^th birthday.

My experience with Blanca was a good one. I’ve never had a rabbit before and she answered all my questions quickly and honestly. Whichever way you contact her, she responds pretty fast. She even sent me home videos on how to trim the nails! I was able to come by to visit the lops she had available and she let my bf and I hold and pet them, which gave us time in deciding which one would be a best fit for us. Her baby bunnies are so cute and pretty well behaved; it was difficult to choose! She didn’t pressure or rush anything, so I felt like I made the right decision to get my bun from her as I had my skepticism of buying from a breeder. But I don’t regret anything. It’s been a few months now and I couldn’t imagine life without my little guy Chewie. He brings extra fun, laughter, and love in the house with his curious and silly personality. I would definitely get another bun from Blanca in the future. Rabbits are overlooked and uncommon domestic pets, but with good care and love towards them, they can be the the cutest, sweetest, and docile companions you could have (especially after neutering/​spaying). Thanks for bringing this little piece of joy into my life! I’ve wanted a rabbit for a long time :)

First time getting a bunny from them and they were easy to contact and keep in touch. Told us everything we needed to know about our new bunny. It was a good experience, I didn’t have any feelings of doubt or anything. They even had recommendations for spay and neutering places.

Here we are, a week later picking up our second holland lop from Bae’s. Great people. Very knowledgeable and of course, really cute bunnies they breed. Definitely recommend Bae’s!!!

I have been so incredibly impressed by this couple! They are so accommodating and provide a lot of good information to their clients to ensure that the bunnies are placed in a great and well prepared home! They truly care about the bunnies and their customers and even go so far as to tell you you can call or text them any time of day or night it you have any questions or concerns. I’ve recently gotten Yam Yam-​my lil Holland Lopped bunnie from Bae’s Magic top hat.
The moment I saw Yam, I knew she would be a part of my family and sure she is today.
I got her on a very very special day-​Black Friday this year 2015hahaha.

Oh, Yam Yam is actually my very first bunny I have ever had so when I asked about which food I should get for her, Bae’s Magic top hat was so kind to give me extra Timothy hay and tablet food for Yam Yam. Nice, friendly and caring are how I describe Bae’s Magic top hat.

I had wanted a lionhead rabbit for several years after falling in love with them at a local fair. I had become obsessed with finding a good breeder and unfortunately there weren’t many choices in So. Cal… I figured I would need to take a road trip up north to see Blanca as she had the most beautiful stock I had seen on the Internet. Fortunately for me, I found out she would be making deliveries to Southern Ca!
My lionhead «Harlow» is absolutely stunning… She is a little fluff ball with button eyes. Harlow is an indoor rabbit and I am in shock how easy she was to potty train… Not a single pellet to be found outside of her litter boxes… She has the sweetest personality, she calmly lets me hold and brush her to my hearts content. I love watching her race around with her wild bunny hops and then seeing her flopped on the floor with her fluffy feet behind her… Her little quirks and personality bring such joy to my life!
Harlow is healthy and happy and such a testament to the good breeding done by Blanca. I have included photos but those do not even capture the cuteness of my sweet bun! Thank you Blanca! XO

Super nice people and very accommodating given that we live on the other side of the bay and our schedules are not always set. However, Blanca and Juan were able to meet when we had some time. We were looking for a Netherland Dwarf to add to our family and we found him. The bunny is in great shape and really mellow. We were impressed enough to have our names added to the waiting list for another one. If you’re looking for a rabbit or rabbits to add to your family, we highly recommend Bae’s Magic Top Hat Rabbitry.

I found this breeder’s website after a few Google searches. It was a challenge to find a decent rabbit breeder in my area. When I found out they were in Northern California I immediately sent a text to the phone number they provided. I got a response in less then a minute and it’s been like that since. Blanca responds so quickly which was great because I was so excited and had so many questions. Which brings me to the next great thing about them. Blanca was so informative and helpful. At one point I started to feel bad that I was bugging her with too many questions and requests but she never made me feel like I was out of line. She was very happy to help!
The biggest issue was how was I going to get the baby I picked out. She’s in northern Cali and I’m in San Diego. It just so happened that she was traveling down California, all the way to San Diego, and she was willing to drop my little guy off and didn’t ask for a delivery fee.
It was about two weeks before I would finally meet my bun and I was very anxious. Blanca sent me pictures a videos of him and kept me posted. She even sent me videos and pictures of mom and dad rabbit!
I have had my bunny, who I named Dusty, for a week and he is the best! He has the best temperament and shows absolutely no signs of aggression. He lets us pet him and hold him. I have two little boys ages 5 and 1 and he’s so great with them. He is so handsome and his color is amazing. And best of all he’s healthy!
To make a long story short, I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to add a bunny to their family. Your experience will be stress free, easy! If I every would like to get a companion for my Dusty I will go back to Bae’s (:

Ordered a dwarf bunny through Bae, and Bianca and Juan hand delivered it all the way in LA! They were very knowledgable, and took thier time answering all our questions. Plus they walked us through all the initial goodies that came with the bunny– hay, pellets, cage, water feeder, etc.
Overall a very pleasant experience and the Bunny is well trained and well groomed right off the bat! Thank you guys for making my kid happy.
