Filthy bathroom! No type of maintenance, or air fresheners; horrible odor (you can smell the restroom from the exterior dining area seated two tables away) and not a single drop of soap to be found! Ay dios! I seen the workers come in and out of that same restroom which leads me to believe that they’re not washing their hands, and these individuals are the ones handling our food? I’m gagging now that I think of it. Not acceptable! I also ordered a large drink which the cashier stated it came with refills, when requesting a 2^nd refill he stated it only came with one refill?! Ughhh ok? I mean… c’mon Metro Taquero get it together.
There are more sanitary places to eat that also provide unlimited refills.

Last time buying lunch at this place.
Almost Break a teeth. Found a rock in the food.
Call there to speak with someone but no luck.

Really poor customer service. The food is nothing special for the price, rather bland. They are mostly always out of things, no lengua, no cabeza, no tripa!
No sauce or limes on the side. They messed up my order and didn’t give me the right amount of tacos I ordered, I noticed until I got home and didn’t feel like going back. Don’t think I’ll be back

the steak nachos are bomb… dessert is hella good also. idk about the tacos too much fat

Food is great, I love their Tortas buuuuuuutttt Sebastian, a cashier there, acted the most disrespectful possible way toward us. We purchase a torta and a burrito which we pay for $ 28.01, my girlfriend gave him $ 3.99 on tips, ok maybe wasn’t that much of a tip but it is a tip after all, and as soon as my gf walked towards me this idiot grab as the receipt and tell this other guy «look o got 3.99 on tips, they couldn’t give the dollar instead?» Yes I recommend the food but man the service of this Sebastian guy was unacceptable. Really pissed about it. A tip is a tip be grateful about it.

Great food, fast pick up window. They never fail when your hungry and want good tacos and burritos

Holy crud, I use to come here all the time for the steak fries but the price went up to 9 dollars from 6 and its the same portion… Just gotta say price goes up, customers go down

Whenever I’m in Hayward, my go to carne asada fries spot would be taco urupan (I don’t remember the exact spelling). The carne asada fries here are made with nacho cheese! I asked at the counter if I was able to substitute it with mozerella cheese instead and the guy said yes. When my order came, there was only fries, steak, sour cream and the pico de gallo. Not sure if he understood english when I said mozerella cheese but it seem like he did. I asked for it again and the girl seem irritated, I didn’t ask for them to remake it. I only asked to have it on the side. For about 10 dollars for a plate of Carne Asada Fries, there was pretty less meat and very little pico de gallo and sour cream.

I used to come here twice a week for tacos. They stopped serving limes???
I don’t understand, I need limes with my tacos.
I won’t be back unless the limes are.

I luv that this place is open late but to me the price of their steak fries is a bit much for the size it is. Also watch out when u Pay in cash… they seem to always give me the wrong amount of change. Last time the girl almost took a dollar from me but I knew how much change I was suppose to get n today the guy took 5 cents from me like change was suppose to be $ 10.11 but he gave me $ 10.06… I’m just saying check ur change always if u Pay in cash here. It seems like the people that work here do not know how to count. But I luv the food here it’s just my go to just because they r still open the time I get off of work.

People are nice food is OK as far as pricing but it’s just flavorless… Mexican food is very flavorful but not here like the nacho cheese that’s about it

Joseph took my order. He was not friendly and looked clueless. I ordered a carne asada taco (he appeared to be typing that in), battered fish taco (typing), and and steak fries with cream on the side. He asked me to sign the receipt without a pen. Then he pointed toward the tip jar and said «pen’s there.» I looked over the tip jar and saw some pens. His coworker said to him, «you’re supposed to hand them the pen.»
We waited about 5 – 7 minutes. The fries arrived, but no tacos. We looked at the receipt, no tacos was typed in. It was just «al pastor fries, no crème, and side of sour cream for $ 1.59.»
The fries tasted like it’s been fries twice.

Review is solely for Taco Tuesday where some of the taco (depending on the meat) is 1.5
I can’t tell you which ones they are, but I know for sure that CARNE is one of those tacos, and the fried fish IS NOT.
Stopped by on Tuesday with a friend post workout since it was Tuesday and who doesn’t love tacos? It was both our first times, soooo it was somewhat exciting. It’s located on the busy area of A street, but luckily, there’s a decent sized parking lot with a togo window, or order in and eat!
We opted to go inside and stood around to look at the menu. There was no signs anywhere about Taco Tuesday or a special deal, so take my review as a PSA and free advertising for this sweet deal. The menu looked good, so we headed to the counter to order.
We got a in training staff member who didn’t have anybody helping him (assuming that he’s capable, which he was for the most part). Carne tacos on point is all I have to say. The meat was grilled perfectly and decent size chunks. Onions and cilantro to top it off into perfection. Double layered corn tortilla which was crispy AND hot, ohhhhlalala. It was a perfect combination and nicely oiled. I mean it was a mean taco.
The fish taco was cool– a little too much sauce and tomatoes for me, but the fish itself was fried pretty perfectly.
Overall, good experience and nice place to stop by for taco tuesday. It’s super clean inside and the staff is friendly. Food comes out quickly and they take card!

This was my «go to» place for cerviche for the first three times we tried it when we moved to the area!!!
Then, we started ordering 2 orders… And they wanted to combine them. We asked for them to be separated and, last time, they just divided them up.
This time, we SPECiFICALLY asked in advance for two orders in two containers… When we got home… We noticed that each one was only half full!!! Sorry, but you cheat us… You lose business!!! Will be finding other places to spend our money!!!

BIG HEADS UP IF YOU BUY THINGS FROM HERE!: if you ever purchase a drink with your food, wait at the register for them to give you your beverage, I have been here 5 times and 3 of those times I get my food first and they forget to give me my beverage when i’m on the way home is when i suddenly remember that I ordered 2 drinks; bear in mind, if you or they forget your beverage you ordered, you are still charged for it.
The food here is great, i will say its worth a short trip to get food from this place, however its the entire issue with the employees forgetting to give you your beverage on time that keeps it from getting a full 5 stars from me.

Metro is coo for that temporary quick authentic feel. Had traditional tacos and they were good. Chips were lame. Customer service could be a lot better.

It’s like going to the fucking nail salon… I may not «speak» Spanish but I understand enough to know when you’re talking shit. At least wait until the paying customer leaves before you talk shit about them.

12÷29÷15 — The food is usually ⁴⁄₅ stars. But the customer service is horrible:
I called and ordered breakfast for the first time, for my mom and myself. We both wanted chilaquiles. Mom doesn’t like beans so I asked for no beans thinking that it came with beans AND rice… So I assumed it would just be double rice. Nope! They said they would charge more to substitute beans for rice… Rice? How much does rice cost?! Even for a single serving? So we ended up payed $ 5.99 for this…

They have ruined their traditional steak tortas. $ 5.99 and you got the best torta. Then they changed the bread which sucks and now it is $ 6.99 or 7.99 for steak. $ 2 price increase isn’t too wise. Since their new ownership this place isn’t as good as it used to be smh

Lo PEOR que he vivido en mi vida, el servicio pésimo, nos tomó la orden Daisy anoche y fue tan lenta y de paso no nos escuchaba y estábamos casi gritándole, nos hacía repetirle todo lo que decíamos, nos hizo mal la orden, le dije para comer aquí y nos hizo la orden to go! LO PEOR, si no quieren pasar un mal rato busquen otro lugar donde ir a comer! Las tostadas de camarón tenían literalmente 2 camarones y los tacos casi sin salsa, no puedes cambiar tipo de carne a la comida. Como cliente uno paga lo que quiere comer y ellos no pueden cambiar el tipo de carne aunque estés dispuesto a pagar extra por lo que quieres, le preguntas a la «Manager» si hay algo que se puede hacer para cambiar el tipo de carne y te contesta con la peor actitud.
Por favor no pierdan su tiempo en contestarme ofreciéndome su new «bowl de nose que» y su nueva torta porque a su restaurante no regresó jamás!!! Los empleados son los que arruinan este lugar.-

The tacos here are very very good! I highly recommend metro! Of your in the area stop by for some really good food.

Pague 35 dolares por UNOs burritos de carne asada y me salieron con UNOs 4 pedacitos de carne y retacados de arroz y frijoles pienso que no Es justo por lo que paga uno muy mal establecimiento
