I haven’t been to the dentist in over 6 years. My last experience was horrible that since then I’ve given myself every excuse to never step foot in a office for a long time… Until my molar broke into pieces a few weeks ago. Didn’t have insurance and was freaking out, they provide a flat rate dental insurance you pay yearly and is a great value. The staff and doctor have been nothing but accommodating and so reassuring. They never pressure you into doing anything you can’t do, due to financial issues. My teeth feel better and healthier than ever!

What an difference !! Previous dentist must of been from the middle ages. Dr. Wick and his amazing staff are an absolute God send. Got me in right away. Reviewed a game plan, was able to see them the following day for a nasty extraction. Super gentle and caring all of them. Welcome gift bag the first day, bottled water, clean office and wonderful follow up. I can’t say enough good things. They are a top notch team… Total class act. If you need a dentist this is your guy!!!

How I managed to make it to 25 before getting my first cavity, I’ll never know; BUT I am so glad my colleague suggested Dr. Wick. His bedside (chairside?) manner was excellent and the office team were extremely helpful. An uncomfortable experience was made bearable and I found a great dentist. So worth the drive across the bridge!

Dr. Wick and his staff are all first rate! Dr. Wick has been my dentist for at least 25 years. If he was anything less than a fantastic dentist I would have found a new dentist a long time ago. Everyone in his office are also great from the hygenist to the office staff and billing dept. I credit the good condition of my teeth to the care he has provided over the past many years and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist in the Hayward area. Thanks Dr Wick !

I went to Dr. Wick’s office again. The staff is still great. They treated me, and my five year old, very well. They went out of their way to make my son feel comfortable and even took out some coloring books for him to use during our visit. They were attentive to me and understanding of the fact that I brought my son with me.
Later, I had a question about my bill and the office staff reviewed it and answered all my questions. I, still, highly recommend this dentist. I went home with a (clean) smile, a cookie, and toothbrushes for my whole family. :)

Where do I begin? I’ve had terrible experience with another Dentist office not too far away (see my profile for that review) and decided to try Dr. Wick. Wow, what an amazing couple of experiences I’ve had with him and his office staff. From the first phone call to the most recent visit everything was explained clearly, I was treated with respect, my billing was done correctly and to top it off we got a goody bag full of stuff, bottled water and cookies plus Dr. Wick hand wrote a welcome note! Dr. Wick and the staff treat everyone like they are family. We were welcomed into their office with smiles and good vibes and genuinely felt like they cared about us not just about the money they were making from our visits.

Who knew that a dentistry practice could be so awesome? Dr. Wick is professional, courteous, ON-​TIME, straight-​talker, and has a great dry sense of humor. Awesome ability to be both a businessman and a great clinical practitioner.
The staff here are great and what really make the operation shine — from the folks at the front desk to the dental hygienists. Everything here is First Class, a treat in America

I came here after having a bad experience at Smile Care. I told them that I had a bad experience and what the previous dentist had told me. Needless to say, I came in here super nervous not knowing what to expect. Dr. Wick and his staff are amazing! The ladies at the front desk are always so welcoming and the dental assistant was there to answer questions for me too. Dr. Wick examined my teeth and afterwards, I felt at ease. I’ve had to get some work done and have some more scheduled appts to finish off some work but I definitely recommend this place. My dad will also be going once he needs to go to the dentist again!

I have been going to Dr. Wick for two years. I trust him and feel that he has my best interest in mind. Dr. Wick has convenient office hours, as early as 7:30 am — which helps with my work schedule. I love getting my teeth cleaned here. I highly recommend Dr. Wick.

One of the best dentists I have been to! He has one of the most thoughtful dental practices ever! When I showed up for my appointment the staff gave me a welcome gift and a welcome card that was hand written by Dr Wick. =) During the numbing process he administered just a little anasthesia and let it numb a little before injecting the full dose so it would be less uncomfortable for me. I had never had a dentist do that before. Great work and very thoughtful!

Dr. Wick and all his staff are amazing. We have gone to him for the past 22 years and he is one of the best in the east bay area. We moved out of Hayward and still drive back just to see him and the staff for all our dental work. He is honest and trust worthy, unlike other dentist that are out for the money. As he told my daughters I will treat you like you were my own daughters. Excellent and very recommended. Thank you Dr. Wick and the staff for treating us like one of your family.

A good dentist is hard to find. I had a terrible experience last year and I found Dr. Wicks and I feel lucky! He knows what he is doing and took the time to explain what was wrong to me and I’m not in the process of fixing what was done badly last year. I also mentioned that the place I went to last year wouldn’t give me the nitric gas, that always makes me relaxed and I just close my eyes and let them do what they want. So when I went in for a cavity to be filled they gassed me up and I didn’t freak out like I did last year with out the gas! I’m not scared of the dentist I just can’t relax and him and his staff made me feel very welcomed and with the extra help of the gas I felt great! I’m so glad I finally found a new dentist to go to after searching for too long!!!

My sister found Dr. Wicks and told me how wonderful he is. I trusted her myself and went in to find that he was so much better than my previous dentist and the staff is amazing. Every person in that office is very easy to work with and is very helpful. I took my son who was scared to death and now he no longer fears the dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Wicks and Co. They are great, very personable and accommodating. The best part is… Dr. Wicks doesn’t believe in pain!!! Going to the dentist should not be painful. THANK YOU DR. WICKS!!!

Long time Unilocaler reader– first time reviewer.
My experience was so stellar I was moved to write my first review for Doc Robert Wick’s office. I’ll begin with, dentist appointments make me nervous. I’ve had less than wonderful experiences with previous dentists and if that didn’t add to my vulnerability I was 7 months pregnant at the time and new to the area (btw my app was just 3 weeks ago)
The minute I got to Dr Wicks I felt taken care of. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Mabel (the tech) was very gentle and did a great job– which is a first– all my previous teeth cleaning have been borderline painful/​tedious.
Dr. Wick took images of my molars and flashed them on a computer screen so he was able to easily explain his recommendations in detail without giving me that pushy I’m at the mechanic feeling. His office was very clear in itemizing payment and estimates– what my insurance would cover/​what I needed to cover.
Overall the entire experience was a breeze. I’m thrilled I found a great dentist.
