Dr. Najla Malak-​Majdalani is my current optometrist and she always provides excellent and helpful service! She is very friendly and easy to talk to and can provide solutions to any of your questions. She helped make my transition from glasses to contacts VERY easy and now I am a pro at putting in/​taking out my contacts and maintaining them properly. Thank you!

Horrible customer service! Out of town and was in need of assistance on how to go about getting an emergency pair of contacts. The receptionist was not helpful at all and was the rudest person I have ever experienced at a Sears Optical. NEVER going back there again for any type of help!

I have a high prescription but the doctor here is top notch. It feels good to see clearly again. I came here during a sale and I got contact and eyeglass exam that was affordable compared to competitors. After the exam i went next door to look at the glasses. I was about to buy a bigger frame type of glasses but was told that it would make the thickness of my lenses more noticeable. She recommended me a smaller frame and the price was cheaper than the frames I had previously picked. When my glasses came I was surprised how thin the lenses looked compared to my old frame. I was surprised considering how my vision had gotten worse also my contacts took awhile to come because of my prescription but I see just as well with them on. I Will definitely come back when it’s time to renew my prescription.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT GO HERE to get your glasses. YOU WILL REGRET IT.
I am in need of bifocal glasses so it does make it more difficult to measure them correctly.
The doctor that’s there is very nice and I think very experienced. She went an extra mile to get my prescription right. It looked really good looking through her machine.
But when I got first pair and I did not see as good as expected, I was told it’ll take some time to get used to it. With these glasses I had no peripheral vision. Even looking in the rear view or side view mirror in my car I had to move my head straight to the object to see it without being blurry. I was bumping into the corners of the walls, I was stumbling on the objects in the front of me that I simply did not see. Going downstairs was a challenge I had never experienced since my childhood. I saw weird reflections in sides of my glasses like there is someone walking there while no one was present.
After several weeks I could not take it any longer and I went back and told them about no peripheral vision, and difficulty driving on the freeway but they said that it’s the lens manufacturer and there is nothing they can do.
Doctor did another exam and made adjustments. Free of charge. After more few weeks they did give me a different pair of glasses. Another months wearing these and I started to loose my vision. After reading for an hour everything went blurry, even far distance viewing. I went back but doctor said that everything looks good because again, looking through her machine everything looked sharp and clear.
Nothing has improved and I felt my vision was degrading rapidly. I was getting headaches, which I never do. My left eye started to hurt a lot in the evening. I found myself walking around with my left eye closed.
When I tried to make another appointment, the clerk was getting angry questioning why I want to come back again.
I decided to go to my previous doctor who lives far away. I am in little less than $ 500 dollar hole. This whole process has taken longer than 3 months so they won’t give me refund for faulty glasses.
I am wearing my 4 years old glasses again. It took me few days to adjust back to them but I am much happier now. My peripheral vision is back. Although they don’t quite cut it anymore, well, that was the reason I was seeking new glasses, hopefully my previous doctor will help me see good again.
By the way. Their glass frames are simply terrible. Cheap and horrible, Go and see for your self, and you won’t believe what kind of garbage these people are trying to sell as frames that you supposed to wear all day. Handcuffs are more comfortable then any of their frames.
Take my advaice. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. It will save you lot’s frustration that you don’t need in your already stressed out life.

Parking outside of the mall. Walk in through sears and head back till you see the escalators and head down. Had to walk around a bit. But pretty easy to spot once youre there.
I made an appointment for me and my brother. I would never expect sears to have an optometry center but i decided to give it a shot because it was on my list of places that accepted my insurance.
The gentlemen at the front desk was really nice and explained the whole process. Filled out the paperwork (because we were first time customers) and waited about 5 – 10 minutes for the doctor to come out for the exam.
Dr. Najla Malak-​Majdalani is probably one of the most friendlist eye doctors ive interacted with. She is kind hearted and really takes the time to explain things to you. We had a great talk about our college experiences during our exam. She explained every procedure and how it would affect my vision if i were to pick contacts over glasses.
Process took no more than 20 – 25 minutes; I came out picked out a frame i really liked and the process after that was pretty easy and smooth. I would definitely recommend coming here. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Search No More! I had been struggling for over a year with my vision trying to get Optometrists to get the correct prescription for bifocal contact lenses… Dr Najla Malak-​Majdalani knows her stuff! She is an absolutely nice person and she knows what she is doing! After all this time without being to see correctly I can finally say «I Can See»!!! I no longer need my reading glasses and I am thrilled to no end!!! If your looking for a fantastic Eye Dr, Look no more!
