Love Snappy’s! It has such a relaxed and homey feel to it. I always look forward to checking out the different art works displayed on the walls of local artists she supports. Love the community she brings. April, the owner is very sweet and hospitable. She recognizes me when I visit and I continue to bring family and friends to enjoy a cup of coffee here. Delicious chai tea lattes! And raspberry mocha!

Nice little place. Best Mocha I’ve ever had. Chai not so good. Missed it first time around the block.

Super nice owner when my girlfriend and I went on a weekday night before closing and we got the vanilla latte large sized and she got the chai latte! Both are sweet but just the right amount of coffee taste in them. When we asked the owner how she got the café name she gladly told us the story behind it! I am usually a regular and when I go she always greets me with a smile!

Came here on a Monday holiday, so pretty slow and quiet around downtown Hayward. My son didn’t want IHOP so we found Snappy’s. Got bagels and juice. Nice and cheap for what it is and I wasn’t expecting Beauty’s Bagels or Russ & Daughters from NYC. Super nice owner and pleasant to just eat quietly and relax.

Very nice service. I have had a couple different drinks here now and they were both very tasty. They give you a check off card and after 10 drinks you get one free.

Snappys supports local artists and local businesses .They have art up on the wall that your can purchase and they have a lot of handmade jewelry also for sale. Hot sauce is made down the street from here and it’s one of the best I’ve tried. I am a pansy when it comes to spicy food, I like the sauce because it tastes like it should be hot but it’s not. Ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich and it was huge. This place is awesome enough said.

Snappy’s is one of my favorite local coffee shops to come to. I live in walking distance so I like to visit at least once a week while I’m working remote. Snappy’s owner is very sweet; I always feel welcomed in the cozy home like atmosphere of the café. There are a lot of yummy options to choose from, but as a creature of habit I always go for a iced dirty chai and the breakfast sandwich(I recommend everyone to try it). Sometimes I spice it up and get the vanilla latte. Not to mention along the cute bright red walls are are different types of art and photography from local artists. My review is long over due but this morning during my visit«Santa paid for my coffee.» It’s kind acts like this that make coming to Snappy’s and supporting our local businesses way better than standing in line at any Starbucks or Peet’s.

Moca was not too bad. Muffin was too dried. They said it was made fresh today, but it was the same quality from Safeway.

Stopped by for a quick coffee today. Felt like I waited forever for my coffee as there were a few people ahead of me and only one person(the owner) working. Waze takes me by here from time to time. Stopped today cause I like supporting little cafes. This one is really trying, owner seems nice, and helpful. But no real reason to go back. Coffee was OK, no great pastries etc. I suggest they get a new bakery vendor and kick it up a notch. Might try again, but not going out of my way.

Delicious coffee, yummy sandwiches, lovely service and the pleasure of supporting a local business! Found Snappy’s on Unilocal this particular evening, when our favorite crepes place was closed for the day. Couldn’t be happier to find this little gem right in the heart of downtown Hayward. We ordered the café au laits and they were just superb. The egg and cheese on a jalapeño bagel as well as the pesto, tomato and cheese bagel were very flavorful and hit the spot! Service was very attentive and yet non intrusive. The restroom was clean. Glad for such awesome small business places in our city!

This place is great. There are some real original selections on the menu that you won’t find anywhere else. And the décor is inviting as well. Take a minute out of your day and make it better with Snappy’s!

One of the best lattes I’ve had(not too sweet and really great flavor — I’ve had caramel and hazelnut) and a really peaceful place to get some work done. Very friendly owner and a cozy space with easily accessed power strip. Quite small(only can seat about 10) but the couple of times I’ve been there there has always been room for me to set up my laptop. Whenever I’m in the Hayward area I’ll be stopping by!

Wow. I really wanted to love Snappys! I ordered a pumpkin spice latte and what I got was what appeared to be lukewarm brownish milk. No pumpkin flavor, and not much of any other flavor either. I will be back to give it a second chance, though. Maybe it was a bad day. I will update my review if my experience is better.

April is really nice and makes a mean Dirty Chai I really like how she supports the local businesses and talent… there’s awesome photographs on the wall for sale by a local artist and you can buy Joe’s Honey and Lucky Dog Hot Sauce here if you can’t wait for the Farmer’s Market on Saturday.

For the area, this is the café you want to be at! The owner is friendly and always there. The set up is very comfortable to hang out and do work or just enjoy. You can really tell that this is a labor of love. You can tell a good café by the little details, and Snappy’s is just perfect. Even the beans are locally roasted! You’ll have to park on the odd side street because of Hayward’s ridiculous Loop, but the walk is literally just around the corner. Comparing this café to the Starbucks by Lucky’s would be an insult to Snappy’s. Lol. Oh, they have almond milk here, which Starbucks does NOT have yet. Right now, I’m looking at a flier for live jazz on Saturday afternoon. 12 – 1:30pm, the first Saturday of the month. How cool! Thanks for being here, Snappy Café!

Love love love love Snappy’a Café. April is so awesome. She has such a great kind spirit and knows you by name. She also knows your order if you are a regular. I always see familiar faces there. She displays art for local artists and always sells local. Great place for good coffee! Best ice coffee in town.

Snap! And here we are. Once upon a time, I was at a NYE event with an Oakland-based dance company. It was catered by the business of one of the dancers, Snappy’s Café. The food was so good, I knew I had to come to Snappy’s some time. Problem is, I rarely go through Hayward, and I almost never get off 880 when I do. Problem solved. The rest of my family flew back from Texas, and on our way to Santa Cruz, we had lunch at Snappy’s Café. Be warned that A Street becomes one way — against you — if you’re coming from 880, and Snappy’s is on that first one-way block. It’s a small, cute little café. I never thought I’d use«cute» and«Hayward» in the same sentence, but now I did. A few tables against the walls, a counter where you can sit at the window and have a beautiful view of A Street. Jazz music in the background. The stuffed turtle sauntered up to my 3rd-grader to say hi – or did her dad help the turtle with the sauntering? Had a short talk with April, my first chat with her even though I’d seen her at many dances, and she’s just as sweet and helpful as other Unilocalers have written. The sandwiches were small, but this is a coffee shop and not a deli. No Dutch crunch rolls here. My wife had a turkey sandwich, and my girl and I both had grilled cheese(mine with the extras). A good ‘wich was had by all, and we were able to tell which ‘wich was which. The light spice on mine did the trick. I’d love to write a review about the tea, but my tea-loving hunny surprisingly ordered a Coke and not tea. The relaxed atmosphere made for a good light lunch, for a total hit of just over $ 16. Snappy’s Café is the kind of place where you can bring either a book or a laptop and laze away the morning. But if you do, keep buying the coffee and sandwiches, don’t just take up space. This is a good place, and the more you get, the longer April can keep it going.
