Sweet Crumbs Bakery

This review is highly overdue! I consulted with Sweet Crumbs Bakery to bake a cake for my son’s Mickey Mouse 3^rd birthday party back in February. I believe at that time she only made cupcakes and haven’t tried baking specialty cakes. (I could be wrong if my memory is mistaken.) Thank goodness she was willing to do this for me. I ordered a 3 tiered cake. Bottom layer was chocolate with caramel buttercream frosting, middle layer was vanilla with fresh strawberries and cream, top layer was the cake form of their banana cream pie cupcake. I LOVED the banana cream pie flavor. The baked graham cracker crust with the banana cream filling is to die for! The chocolate with caramel buttercream was a big hit also! My fiancé still remembers to this day how yummy it was. Her cake wasn’t dry like other places and felt like it had just the perfect amount of flavor to them. The way they decorated with the fondant and how it all turned out look wise was pretty darn good!
They were a little late on delivering the cake but that’s because she had to handle a mini emergency with Mickey’s ears. But that didn’t bother me at all. I’m so thankful i was able to turn to Jen at Sweet Crumbs for my son’s birthday cake.
