Taqueria Eduardo 2

I’ve lived in Hayward alllllll my life, and I’m JUST now finding out about this place? Oh man. I was looking for a place that was open a little later, considering a lot of the places close around 9 or 930. Around the area are allllot of taquerias! And then we saw this place! found it on an amazingly random fluke.
Apparently they’ve been open for yeaaaars now. Maybe longer than I’ve been alive. The lady who always rings me up is real nice! We tried their steak quesadillas! The super is worth your money and way more. I started getting the giant because I’m fat like that but oh well. Okay here.
This places quality of carne asada: greater than life
So we had to come back for their burritos. Man. Every time I get their burrito. My taste buds are dying to finish the burrito, but my stomach won’t let me! It’s huge. LOL but again, the meat quality plus they steam the burrito so the cheese melts like a quesadilla. Adds a crazy kick!

So I don’t like leaving negative comments I rather just not leave any. I believe in if you have nothing nice to say don’t say it at all… but my boyfriend and I were very upset at what we paid for. For $ 25 I got a super burrito, Nachoa and Orchata. I was so exited to try our food and as soon as I took a bit all I tasted was dry mushy meat. When opening my burrito all I noticed Was rice and a whole lot of mushy dry meat. No sour cream NO guacamole nothing else I was so devastated. As for my boyfriends nachos, very dry and tortilla super stale. I have came here often time late night and ordered tostadas which I really enjoy however last night was a total fail. I would recommend you give it a try with a taco or so and then decide if you want to buy a meal, However there is Chavez and La Placita right across from this place… best best bet to take your money over there.

Great tacos! chorizo taco plate was soo good! Food is good, but I could not find a place to recycle the bottles, and could not find where to leave the dirty dishes. The used tables were not cleaned quiclky enough when new people come over. The box of chips is too small. If this place fix some of those issues, it will be great!

Don’t come here! The man who is register is very quiet doesn’t talk much and hes always there when i come in. To start off he has his shirt unbottoned and all his chest hairs showing. Which i find unsanitatized he looks like a tuso. And the lady with short hair who is also register is very rude never welcomes you in, has a mean mugging glare seems like shes smelling the nasty menudo they got in the back the whole time

I have been ordering here for almost two years and i have always gotten a burrito which has always been delicious but I have recently stumbled upon there super nachos! So delicious. The kind of nachos that you need to search for a chip because they don’t skimp on the toppings. Now I personally have never had the menudo (I don’t like tripe) but my best friend says it’s the best in hayward and she has only ever eaten there menudo! The service is awesome a woman named ruby always helps me and she is the best friendliest person ever! Love the dedication! Needless to say I will not be shopping for another taquiera for a long time!

The super nachos is the only thing you’ll ever need to order. Straight heavenly and out of this taste bud world dude!!! It’s definitely nice to have a little salsa bar on the side too, can’t complain when they’ve got a couple varieties to take home. My only complaint? I’m too full to keep eating ⁹⁄₁₀ times!

Menudo was NOT good! They put rice in it & I didn’t ask for it & the tripe was soggy and mushy. I asked for flower tortillas & got corn. I got 2 tacos & they were mediocre. I’m glad I got the taco because the Menudo was gross. I won’t be going back.

Naa dog I’m out dirty ass place

I was introduced to this place by my sister. She really likes their tacos and I do too! Staff, for the most part, is moderately friendly. The burritos are also quite filling and yummy.
There are a variety of salsas, which I love! The chips could be a bit fresher.

So good! I always get the super carne asada burrito. The super nachos are good also.

You know it’s bad when even the chips taste terrible and stale. Salsa was rancid and it for sure needed to be tossed out. Had a horrible pastor burrito soaked in grease. Didn’t eat the whole thing yet still woke up in the middle of the night throwing up. Idk where all these good reviews come from but this is the worst taqueria I’ve ever been to.

We used to always go here. Their service has gone down in the last few years I think. People taking your order can be real rude! Their food isn’t as good anymore either.

First of all, I don’t usually write reviews about mediocrity but everything about this place was bleh. I walked in and the table and chairs were sort of all over the place and the floor looked like it could use a sweep. There were a couple of scattered customers but overall it was quiet except for the radio. I ordered a carne asada torta which I later regretted, and as I’m waiting for my food, the cook gets a call and everyone can hear his end of the conversation since the kitchen and dining area are only separated by a half wall. I had to listen to some guy brag about picking up chicks from the club all weekend. Awkward and annoying.
When I finally got my torta it was very sub par. The bread was soggy and while tortas are always wrapped in aluminum foil I think it’s because there was so much watery sour cream that the shredded lettuce was swimming in it and the aluminum foil (not the bread) was holding my sandwich together. It was almost a mexican sloppy joe. There are many other really good spots around here so I doubt I’ll be coming back.

Trying the tacos for first time at this place the asada are pretty good, salsa and chips are delicious too

I’ve been coming here since I was a pre teen and my food has always been delicious! I get Carne Asada Nachos or a Super Burrito with Carne Asada. It’s always been very filling and has never tasted gross. If there were 1 thing that I didn’t like, it would have to be that they PILE on sour cream on an order of nachos but I wouldn’t lower my review to 4 stars because of that ;-)

Been here twice… Stale chips, bland salsa. No self serve drink service. No free refills. Food is wildly average and overpriced. Avoid at all costs. There are better spots to get a Mexican bite. Won’t be going back to this joint.

Picked up some super tacos from here. I had a little bit of hard time ordering on the phone since the person did not speak English too well. They don’t skimp on the cheese and guac here! The meat was not that great. It balanced out to a 3 star rating.

I just tried their nachos the other day and it was amazing! I had half carnitas and half grilled chicken. They charge $ 1 extra for two meats. It doesn’t come with beans which I love and it comes with a lot of meat for only 8.50. I have also tried their tacos, quesidillas, and burritos. All very good.

This may be a bold statement, but Eduardo’s makes the best tacos in Hayward.
Their tacos are authentic (to the best of my knowledge) and they’re packed with meat. Two tacos are enough for me. I get carne asada but their carnitas is the best. If you love carnitas, get their carnitas plate for a more filling meal. They also make my favorite carne asada torta which is huge and packed with fillings. The location is sketchy, but I’m used to it. Just try to come during the day and you’ll be fine.

Damn. I forgot, last time I came here the buche was pretty oily too. need remember to get a diff burrito next time and leave the buche for la tapatia in SSF
