Tim loves his Q! The pulled pork cheese fries with his special bbq sauce is almost worth the cholesterol count.

Fantastic bbq — loved the pulled pork, ribs and brisket but all of it was great. Everything was homemade and you can taste the love that was put in it. Timothy and Natasha were great, felt like a backyard bbq!

This is legit bbq. I haven’t tried anything I didn’t like! So far, my favorite are the ribs — tender, spiced, and smoked to perfection. Add some of the homemade bbq sauce and your good to go. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.

Tim’s sauces are homemade and they are sooooooo good. I love the hottest hot sauce which has a bit of a kick! I like their ribs and salmon the best.

Went to das brew on a Sunday, and he was out in front with his daughter. He was an extremely nice and cool guy who just gave me a sample of EVERYTHING on his menu before I ordered. In the end I got 2 pulled pork sandwiches, 2 tri-​tip, and a full rack of ribs. The ribs had a nice char on it, so I’d recommend that the most. Everything else is still pretty good. Proceed with caution on the hot BBQ sauce. It’s good to me, but my brother thought his med had a solid kick. I’ll be coming back! Thanks again :)

Amazing Bbq. The best smoked salmon you will have. They have great pulled pork and ribs.

Awesome BBQ! The food is great, and the service is always upbeat and friendly. Das Brew and The South Smokin BBQ are the perfect pairing.

Some of the best barbeque I have ever had. Everything is great and he is got a great personality. Always ready for good man to serve me some good food. Hope to see him a lot more and eat his amazing food.

Yesterday i had a chance to check out the newly renovated DasBrew with a buddy, and Tim introduced himself while we were enjoying our delicious brews. He kindly let us sample some of his smoked meat, and I must say, WOW!
My favorites:
Tri tip: amazing tenderness and juice with just the right amount of smokiness!
Pork ribs: this is my favorite! Fall off the bone, nice crispy crust on the outside and tender soft and juicy inside. It was one of the best ribs I ever had! You can tell the time and attention he put into smoking those bad boys. As you get to the bones you will notice the flavor and color. Time on the smoker is the only way to get that deep flavor even into the bones!
Aside from the excellent meat, what ties it all in is his excellent spicy BBQ sauce. It has on of the deepest spices I have had in a while, but not painful where you cannot taste the beautifully cooked and seasoned meat. Well balanced sauce with just the right amount of everything going on.
I cannot wait to come back to DasBrew and get my hands dirty with those ribs!

I just tried The South Smokin BBQ ribs for the first time yesterday at Das Brew and I am hooked. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. It’s the first authentic BBQ that I’ve had in San Jose. I loved it enough to order another half rack of ribs to go! Great folks and great BBQ. I’ll be back next weekend to try the brisket !

These guys are amazing. Bbq is amazing, cook is entertaining, overall experience is not to be missed.
Don’t miss out. You haven’t had good bbq unless you’ve had southern bbq. Guaranteed satisfaction. A beer at neighbor Das Brew to wash it all down is icing on the cake!

If I could give more stars I would! Talk about southern hospitality! Food is incredible along with the service! I got the sampler and man couldn’t be more happy! I wanted more! Will definitely be back with friends!

What can I say about this place?
BEST BBQ in Norcal that I’ve had so far and I tried Hi-​Life, Famous Dave’s, Smoking Pig, etc… and wash it down with some awesome beer from JP Das Brew. They are currently located where JP Das Brew is from Friday-​Sunday most weekends.
The way the meat is smoked, the tri-​tip, ribs, pulled pork, and salmon, is just fantastic. The BBQ sauce that comes in 3 varying degrees of heat not only provides the heat but is quite tasty/​sweet. And the seasoned fries are cooked in a specific manner where he measures temperature and duration, so they come out crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside.
My favorite item would have to be the tri-​tip sandwich and a close second would be the salmon.
And the biggest compliment would be to Tim and his family for being so friendly and generous. You can tell he loves what he does and is very passionate, which is providing you with the best BBQ and service.

We went to Das Brews for a new place to try the beers since they were German based. We also planned to have the BBQ that was noted on the website. We were treated to some exceptional BBQ prior to trying the beers. We had ribs, tri tip, and pulled pork. All were very well done and we enjoyed with the beer. We will come back to have some more BBQ again.

If it wasn’t for my friend, 得亿, I would have never found this place! It’s a little spot right outside of DasBrew.
I tried the ribs and they were top notch! The smokiness flavor was mouthwatering and the meat fell right off the bone. Albeit, the hot sauce was a little intense for me.
Overall, I am extremely impressed. Such a small place can compete with the big restaurants. And they were very friendly! I will recommend this place to everyone I know!

You absolutely have to come find this guy. From what I know he’s at Das Brewery in Fremont on Fridays after 5, Saturday’s after 3, and some Sunday’s after 3. Give him a call to find out for sure. His food is amazing I always get the smoked salmon plate and also the tri tip or pulled pork sandwich. The ribs are fall off the bone. I’ve eaten everything and it’s all good trust me.

I LOVE this bbq. I’ve tried the pulled pork, smoked salmon, and the ribs. All of it fantastic. Currently he’s traveling to JP DasBrew in Fremont to serve up his delicious creations on Fridays nights and Saturdays.
