If I could give it less than one star I would. Save your money! His prices may be low, but that’s because he’s putting cheap chinese parts in your car. You’ll pay for it later when you have to do the repair all over again. He is also not very knowledgeable about how the different parts work together — didn’t understand how a fuel pump and fuel gauge work together. His cheap fuel pump didn’t come calibrated (he had no idea what that meant) so spring for a mechanic who uses quality parts that work with your vehicle. Now I’m out a ton of money and have no idea how much gas is even in my car. Kicking myself for not going to my mechanic. Only went here because I broke down in the neighborhood on a weekend when my mechanic was closed and too far away for a car that wouldn’t run. Plus Savaya charged me for a tow across the street. 1 block. That is ridiculous. Wish I would’ve walked away then.

These guys are the best! Honest, very reasonable, came highly recommended. Will never take our vehicles any place else. Made a $ 45 repair that Tire Outlet on 9 mile in Ferndale wanted to charge me $ 697.00 to do.

Over the years, I have taken my cars to this place maybe a half dozen times. They seem to be fair with their pricing and true to their word. I did have an issue with a brake light which came on immediately after they fixed my brakes, but they corrected the problem without additional costs (as you would expect). Though, it did take a couple of hours for them to fix that.
A few months ago, I had an engine light come on and I tried a different place up the road (because it got great reviews on Unilocal). The other place had my car for most of the day and all that they could tell me is that it could be a half dozen things and that they couldn’t really help. Useless waste of my time (took a half day off work!) Took it to Savaya’s and it was fixed within two hours with minimal cost.
I think the owner’s name is Nick. Nice guy. He does have an accent but is very understandable. The waiting room is not terribly clean like you might find in a dealership, but if you want a fair price for your auto service, I recommend it.
