Allegra Marshall P MD

Dr. Allegra is an extremely caring and compassionate doctor. Unlike many in the area he was not quick to jump on surgery and tried other approaches. He told me I would know when I was ready, and I did. When I finally said I needed to have this surgery we sat down to schedule my date. I knew I was in good hands b/​c he told me the week I was thinking of was not good as he would be on vacation the following week and wanted to make sure he would be around for me. I don’t think many doctors would have cared about that. This was one of the many reasons I choose him. First impressions are very important when you call or visit an office. Karen and Sue are extremely welcoming, caring and have always been concerned about me. I have never felt like a number or overlooked here as I have felt at other orthopedic offices in the area. The office is also very clean and comfortable. During my hospital visit I spoke to many nurses who all told me Dr. Allegra is one of the best in the area. After the surgery sometimes I would get discouraged I couldn’t do certain tasks faster and Dr. Allegra would suggest different approaches which always helped. Pain management in conjunction with PT was also key to my recovery. Dr. Allegra provided me with excellent pain care management. It has now been over a year since my surgery and I feel like a new person. The support and encouragement I received during recovery was amazing.
