I had a very good experience with Coastal. I called at 8 am and by 10:30 am Scott one of the employees came by my home. The system had ice in it so he instructed me to leave the fan on to thaw the ice. He returned later, added Freon and my system is much cooler now. They charged a fair price and I would recommend this company.

I had the pleasure of working with Eric Zank recently when it came to adding a Central AC Unit for my home. Throughout the whole process of assessment, installation, and even afterwards for maintenance he was extremely accessible and professional. Even after it was installed, he got the proper crew out here to help install dampers to our old duct work to make sure it was evenly distributed throughout the home. The installers were professional, courteous, and thorough. I would definitely recommend calling Coastal!

I had an emergency plumbing &HVAC issue that happened at 10 pm on a Tuesday night. I called Coastal at 9AM, spoke to the owner George. He was very knowledgeable and straight forward when answering my questions. He was able to quote me a very fair price and have his crew to my house by 2:15PM that same day. His office called me about one hour before the crew was to arrive so I could leave work in time to meet them. The 2 man crew resolved the problem, installed the new unit and cleaned up in a little over 2 hours. This kept my wife and daughter extremely happy.

I was referred to this company via a friend for some service on my outside walk-in cooler. My cooler was serviced, and I was also promised, by the owner, that they would fabricate a cover for the compressor which was exposed to the open environment. One week later no one showed up to cover the compressor(after it rained two days in a row, allowing the rain to damage the electrical components) but the son did show up to collect payment for the repairs. Upon paying the son in full, I inquired about when the compressor would be covered and he said he had no knowledge of such agreement. He spoke with his father and technician and they admitted to forgetting about it, but said they would fulfill the job without charge. At that time, I told the son I would take care of the issue myself, because I was worried that if the cooler wasn’t covered soon, damage would occur, but he insisted they would do the service. Over one week passed, and I was still not contacted, nor had anyone come to repair what was promised to me more than two weeks before. I called the owner George to check when they would come and he told me he would have someone repair it that day. However, twenty minutes later he called me back to tell me they were not interested in completing the job they had promised to me. At this point I was infuriated that this company wasted my time, and allowed my cooler to be uncovered, outside, in the rain, for over two weeks. Mid-conversation, the owner George threatened me and my business, and told me I was«the new guy in town and I needed to watch out,» and then proceeded to hang up on me. I am very unsettled by how unprofessional this company was, and how I disrespectfully I was treated as a new customer and business owner in town.
