Does not have a spa-like atmosphere or look to it. Does not feel like place where you would love to come to treat yourself and get papered. The place smells like the pet store next door, the décor is very tacky and it looks like a kid painted the walls. Only reason I chose to overlook all of that was because I liked how my nails looked after getting them done, in the beginning. . then little by little there wasn’t that much care(by the owner) how long it took my nails to get done or if my cuticles got trimmed or not.

Came here with my sister few months ago. We had no choice to come here because the other place we wanted to go was completely booked. But I wished I read Unilocal before coming here. The service here was terrible. From the reviews and experiences we encountered. Seem like they would treat the customer who is younger/prettier better…

I was looking for a place to get my nails done for my engagement photo shoot that I have the next day. I wanted something simple, just a manicure and pedicure. My sister and I went to 2 nail salons before finally settled for this one. The first one went out of business and the second one was booked. I should have left right from the beginning because I smelled cigarettes the moment I went in. The décor looked cheap and tacky, but I didn’t really expect anything more from this nail salon. There was also no music playing or anything. The atmosphere just seemed very bad. There were 3 different customers in the salon at that time. Two were getting their nails done by a female and a male employee and the other was in the process of drying her nails. Anyway we told the lady in charge(the one working on the customer’s nails) that we wanted a manicure and pedicure. She told us to pick out our colors as she was yelling in a foreign language at a male employee to come out from the back. Keep in mind, she was working on a client at that time. Eventually, the male employee came out and led us to the pedicure chairs. I was being worked on for a good 10⁄15 minutes before the other male employee even tend to my sister. The male employees honestly made me feel very uncomfortable because of the comments that they were making. The guy working on me said my feet felt really soft, like a baby’s butt… weird much? The guy working on me also told my sister that I was beautiful. I felt he was extremely rude because he didn’t say anything about my sister. In addition, the guy working on me had gloves on while the guy working on my sister didn’t have gloves on. Anyway, the female employee left in the middle of working on a client(I think she went to the staples nearby or something because she came back with notepads). And the other customers, who was drying her nails, silently left when the dryers turned off. No one said bye to her or anything. After our pedicures was completed, we went off to get our manicures. Note that I sat down for my manicure 10 minutes before my sister and she finished 15 minutes before me. The guy started filing my nails without asking me if I wanted them squared or round. I ended up getting a random mixture. Some were squared, some were round, some were in between. After the guy finished cutting my cuticles on my hands, he went up and got a scorching hot towel and placed it on my hands. He asked if it was too hot, I said yes. Instead of removing it, he said hot is good and pressed the towel on my hands. I wanted to cry… When I was getting my manicure, the guy totally messed up my index finger. He accidentally touched it when it was wet. Instead of removing my nail polish and starting over, he smeared it with his fingers until it was flat and applied another layer on top. I was quite horrified. When he was done, he lead me to the dryers and went outside for a cigarette. I quickly realized that the dryer was not even on and I had to tell the guy to turn it on for me after his cigarette break… All in all, I completely got ripped off. I paid $ 70 for the both of us excluding tip. The other place that I was planning to go but was over booked only charge $ 30 each for mani pedis! Not only that, they have great reviews! After leaving the salon, I noticed my nails had streaks and bubbles. I honestly can do a way better job at home. My sister has a few messed up nails too. One even has a fingerprint(that was not hers)… My sister was even planning to get her eyebrows done, but no thanks. So I have an engagement photo shoot and I had to redo a couple nails when I came back home because it was that bad. Good that I brought my own nail polish so I can fix his horrible work. I will never ever come back here again. They overcharge for crappy work that you can do better yourself. Plus, the employees are extremely creepy. Do not get your nails done here!

Very poor experience. I purchased a deal off of Living Social for a Spa Pedicure for myself and my mom. The issues started when I called to try to book the services. My original appointments were cancelled because they did not open because of snow, and my next appointments had to be rescheduled multiple times. I was on my way there when a woman(the owner, I believe) called me to ask if I could come an hour later. When I finally arrived, I was greeted warmly and taken to a pedicure chair. My mom, however was not that lucky. She was seated in a pedicure chair and told that someone would be right with her, they were just finishing up. My mom was left waiting in the chair for 40 minutes(my pedicure was almost over at that point) before someone came to begin her pedicure. The women spent about 5 minutes with my mom before excusing herself and going to attend to another customer, again leaving my mom sitting there not being helped. An experience that is supposed to be relaxing turned into a very stressful afternoon as no one seemed to want to help my mother. The owner showed no interest in the fact that there was a dissatisfied customer and did nothing to try to make it up to my mom. My mom ended up walking out with no pedicure and tons of aggravation. There were only 2 other customers in the shop the whole time we were there and this was a Saturday afternoon. Needless to say, given the quantity of nail salons in the area, and the poor level of service at Goddness Nail Spa, we will not be returning. On a much more positive note, if I had to rate the pedicure and service I received, it would be a 4 star experience. Vanessa, the woman who did my pedicure was fantastic and very professional. She went above and beyond to try to accommodate me and my mom. The same can not be said for the woman who owns the salon.
