Amore De Pizza

I used to go here all the time and even as a local I still feel like I’m trespassing when. Go in there personally I think the place Is filthy, the staff is very rude and unprofessional

Definitely a locals place, but we gave it a try after some late night fun. I had a cheese steak with everything and fries. Friends had the Amore Omelet.
The food was very good, and the portions were huge.
French fries were fresh hand cut, and the cheese steak was very good.(had to bring half of it home).
The Amore omelet consisted of salami, provolone cheese, fried onions and hot ham. The omelet was served with home fries, they were made with fresh red potatoes.(very tasty)
Are server was very friendly. The place was busy, but it did not take long to get our food. Give it a try!

So I walk in and feel like a trespasser instantly. This is a local place. The server seemed to know everyone who came and went. Most of the kitchen is right by the window as you walk in and apparently there’s a pizza oven in the back somewhere. This place really looks like a dive. I was pretty concerned as I sat down. I ordered a salad and some pizza anyway. Still concerned… Salad takes a bit. Concern growing. dude brings salad. Mmmm. It’s loaded with veggies and it looks pretty darn good… concern abating… dude drops package of ranch salad dressing on the counter next to my salad… concern returns… concern be damned I’m hungry… wait… It’s Ken’s brand… back to mmmmm. drench salad, eat salad. hmmm Ok! This is as good as it looks. The pizza takes forever but the server told me it would since she had to make a fresh pizza for me. The meatball and mushroom pizza was pretty good. I would love to tell them to stop using canned mushrooms. One of my many pet peeves when it comes to food is canned mushrooms. They taste metallic. I hate it. The meatballs were good and the crust was great! It was a pretty sketchy area (*Interesting note!!!: The convenience store across the street got robbed earlier that morning) but I consider going back here.
