Booty’s Place

They have reopened. Soft opening not advertised grand opening yet. 3 of us had dinner. Salmon was very good. Grilled with side of vegetables. My guests said Eggplant Rolantini and ravioli was also very good. Only issue is I asked if I can get chicken picatta since they have veal picatta. Was vehemently told NO. When asked if server can ask the chef she said they were told NO changes period. I understand most chefs don’t like changes but most Italian restaurants will have 4 dishes ie. Parm., marsala, picatta, franchese made with either chicken or veal. The chef should consider this change to the menu. Rustic kitchen at casino does it great.

I’ve only ever had the pizza here, and was not impressed. Ordered at the window in the ‘mall’. Lots of employees walking by, yet was ignored for at least 5 minutes. Even after they had stood right in front of to us to fill a glass. No eye contact to even say be right with you. Slices cost almost $ 4! For Hazleton, you can find much better elsewhere and for a better price.

I have been here three times… The first time I had a lasagna and it wasn’t good, the second time I had a meatball sub… And it was just okay and the last time I went I had the pizza which was pretty good.

Great food fast service and great prices… really enjoyed eating here

Got pizza there a few days ago. Awesome pizza… great price… the pizza is a great thickness and has a nice chewiness to it. Definitely will go back.

Good food, kind and attentive service. Needs a thorough cleaning and updating, but what in Hazelton doesn’t? I appreciate service that is mature, polite and respectful. Good place for a reasonable well prepared meal, don’t let the façade scare you away.

I thought this place use to be good but I went recently and I didn’t think there was anything to write home about. The sauce seemed a little weak and the pasta was to to to soft. Not sure if they were having a bad night but I think I’m scratching them out of the book. We shall see

Booty’s is a great place for Italian food. If you ever find yourself unable to locate the item you have a hankering for on the menu, try asking the server and they are pretty good with making it. I tend to order off the menu when I go to Booty’s. My only knock on the establishment is that one can tell the décor is dated, but the food and service is consistently decent.

Great place for lunch! Lots of food choices and very reasonable. Staff was quite attentive and the food came quickly. I’ve enjoyed my meal here. Definitely a Hazelton treasure!

I was having trouble finding a place to eat & finally settled upon Booty’s. We ordered take out — Penne alla Vodka & the eggplant rollatini. Each entrée came with a salad or soup & 2 garlic knots.
Portions were generous. I could probably have used my penne alla vodka for 2 meals. Salad was just regular lettuce, tomato, & onion — nothing amazing. My Italian dressing didn’t add any taste. It just looked like an oily salad with no taste. Pretty disappointing salad. Garlic knots, yum yum, but you can’t really go wrong with dough & garlic.
Penne alla vodka was pretty good — nice taste to it. I would def order it again. The eggplant was also decent & it came with pasta & marinara sauce.
Booty’s wasn’t the most amazing but pretty average Italian food. The décor is interesting as well. It’s in an odd, dinky shopping mall but Booty’s is decorated to be some sort of odd stargazing lit restaurant. The ceiling is covered in little lights of stars. I felt like I stepped into an oddly overcompensating, out-​of-​date amusement park.
Also, their service was okay. I was waiting awhile for the hostess to address me so I could tell them I was there for pick up. One of the hostesses was busy but the one behind her kinda just ignored me.

Was a nice experience. The eggplant provolone panini was a bit dry but I asked for a side of extra marinara and viola! Good service. Clean environment… AND they serve alcohol!

Every time I come to Hazleton I always eat here! It is consistently good! Last night was no exception! The filet with mushrooms was perfect!
