KELSEY IS INCREDIBLE! She is so professional and knowledgable in coloring. I am very picky and she always takes the time to talk to me before hand to figure out exactly what I want. She is always on time and takes care of her clients. She makes me feel beautiful and I always look forward to my next appointment with her!

This review is LONG overdue as I got married in July of 2015 but I have to give Elizabeth props for being an amazing hairstylist and makeup artist. I got married at the Sea Ranch Lodge on the 4^th of July and Elizabeth drove from Healdsburg to the Sea Ranch to do hair and makeup for myself and my maid of honor. She was not only prompt and professional but had such positive energy. Exactly the type of person a bride wants to be around on her wedding day. I was so pleased with the way she did my hair and makeup. I simply could not have gotten through the day without her.

I had my cut and color done by Kelsey and she is THE BEST. She does a great job and really listens to what your needs and preferences are. I won’t let anyone touch my hair but her from now on and I won’t be going anywhere else but this salon! She is so professional, caring, and knows her stuff. Make sure you ask for her when you come in if you want the best results and care for your hair. She rocks!

Elizabeth did an amazing job on my feathered highlights. I recommend choosing Elizabeth to be your stylist; you will never leave disappointed.

Shannon is the absolute best! After cutting 10 inches off my hair, she gave me a hair cut I never thought I would have, and it’s amazing! Best haircut ever! Something so different but turned out better than I could’ve imagined!
Cannot wait until she is on the floor full time!

Kelsey is THE best with my hair hands down. She turned my dark hair into a beautiful subtle balyage! The experience was luxurious and I felt like a queen the entire time! Definitely can’t wait to come back to go lighter!

I have been getting my hair done by Elise now for over a year. I even followed her when she moved to Brush salon. She does such an awesome job on my color and cut. I get compliments on my hair constantly. She understands exactly what I want and makes my hair looking and feeling so healthy. I definitely would recommend getting hair done by Elise. She’s the best!

I had a haircut by Elise. I don’t normally review salons, but this experience was exceptional. It began with a moment of relaxation (neck scalp, shoulder massage with Aveda essential oils) and concluded with a gorgeous haircut. I never really know what I should do with my hair, but I know how I want to feel. She asked the right questions to figure out what I wanted even though I didn’t think I knew.
She understood that I like my length but had concerns that my hair was looking thin. My hair now looks full and healthy and she showed me how to achieve the look she had given me with a round brush and blowdryer at home. Love, love, love everything about my experience! Thank you Elise!

Love Brush! The space is beautiful sitting atop one of Healdsburg older buildings with a birds eye view of the busy downtown. The comfortable sense of compatibility this team shares is felt in the relaxed friendly atmosphere. Their Aveda tea has become my new favorite. Elizabeth is the best! Going from brunette to blonde requires trust and having worked with Elizabeth in the past I knew she would be the perfect choice. Her enthusiasm and genuine love of what she does makes her ideal for brainstorming. She had me Pin ideas to her prior to appointment and had just as much fun with the process as I did. I love me hair. I can also highly recommend Elizabeth for your event makeup. I’ve used her many times and am always extremely satisfied with the results. I would like to add as a wheelchair user Brush is very accessible with an easily accessed elevator. Thank you Brush for accomadating my crazy schedule, providing a comfortable salon experience and selling Olaplex cheaper then online stores!

I go to Brush to specifically see Elise. The salon is pristine and beautiful plus it’s centrally located in downtown Healdsburg. I’ve been going to Elise for years and can’t rave enough about her, she’s the sweetest! She does the excellent highlights and tones my hair to perfection every time. I always leave feeling fresh and glamorous! Highly recommend!

Brush is amazing, and this review is not for wedding hairdos!:) I was actually much more pleased with my highlights and cut here than I was with my regular stylist in San Francisco. This is going to be my go-​to place when in Healdsburg on the weekends. It’s right in the plaza, so it’s centrally located. The prices are reasonable, especially considering my stylist did a better job than plenty of more expensive stylists in the city. Love it here and will be back for all my color and cuts!

Big city skills, results and high end professionalism, within small town friendly and welcoming vibe. The stylist and supporting staff at Brush are fantastic. I have been a patron of the salon for years. David, the owner and Master stylist for haircuts and both Nicole and Caitlyn for amazing hair color.

Brush is the best! As a former New Yorker who previously frequented the very best Manhattan salons, I was worried about finding a top-​notch spot for my color and cut when I moved to the country. I found Brush completely by accident, while looking for an Aveda salon, and am very glad I did!
David & Nicole, the owners, are as nice as can be, and the rest of the team follows their example. Everyone there does a terrific job, from color to cut to blow-​dry/​flatiron. My husband is now also a fan and loves his stylist, Caitlin.
Brush even has a makeup artist available that can add eyelashes or freshen your face for minimal $ before you go out. Plus the salon itself is gorgeous, with soaring ceilings and giant windows in a historic bank building on the cute Healdsburg town square. Highly recommend.

Brush was great! I am the bride & used them for my hair & makeup for the wedding. They also did hair & makeup for my 2 sisters & mom. Everyone was very happy! Still kept a natural look/​still looked like ourselves, but better!

All I am reading here is wedding make up & hair style reviews. I was interested in the day to day hair styles the salon could provide. So I will do just that for the average woman thinking of going to this salon. If only half of that focus was turned to the average person wanting a good style for every day look. Me… I was most disappointed with salon… not up to date on cuts and they are over priced, as well. And I did not like having products used that day setting on counter as I left. If I wanted product I would ask.

I was a BM for a wedding nearby, and boy, was the service here top notch. I can’t really review this on my overall experience since the bride graciously picked up our (all the BMs, the mothers, and herself) tabs, so I can review against the cost.
We came in here for make up and hair stylist. Overall, they kept the scheduled they promised us. We had a strict timeline for that day.
Fortunately, Caitlin was my stylist. She did a fantastic job. I knew I was in great hands when I found out she was styling the bride after me. I brought in a picture for her to mimic the style I wanted, and she was very thoughtful and suggested some alternative approaches, but keeping as close to the style I wanted to ensure my hair would stay in place for 12 hours.
I highly recommend Brush and Caitlin for hair stylist and make up. The make up artist, who used to work at Bare Minerals, is awesome as well. She kept my make-​up very minimal and nature to accentuate my features.

Follow up, follow up, follow up! Made an appointment three weeks ahead of time as a guest at a wine country wedding. Arrived before my scheduled appointment to find – ta da, no appointment on the books. Actually it took the young woman at the desk about ten minutes of scurrying around to figure that out. Not sure where the wires got crossed but they got crossed somewhere for sure! Didn’t even get a «sorry for the inconvenience.» Fortunately I’m just a guest and can do my own hair in a pinch. Seems like a nice place BUT I’d call ahead of time to double check your appointment actually exists and don’t rely on a verbal confirmation over the phone like I did.

The team from Brush Salon did a fantastic job for my daughter’s wedding in Healdsburg last weekend! Everyone looked even more beautiful thanks to them. And they were a pleasure to work with — and kept their cool even when a fuse was blown and outlets were scarce for a short while.
In particular I’d like to mention Cayla who made my hair look better than it’s ever looked and Anastasiya who did my make up twice — once on Friday so I could have a trial run and then on Saturday for the wedding. I’ve never had so many compliments! I’m just sorry that I live so far away and can’t work with them more often.
In the rush surrounding all the wedding activities I didn’t take the time to make notes of the makeup that was used. Anastasiya was thoughtful enough to send me an email outlining all of the products that she’d used. The team at Brush went out of their way to make our experience the best it could be. I highly recommend this salon!

Caitlin led the Brush team for hair and makeup for our wedding, and she did a phenomenal job. We had 8 Bridesmaids, 2 moms, and me … we started at 11am and finished at 2pm for a 5:30 ceremony, so the timing was perfect! Everyone loved both hair and makeup. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
Side note — Caitlin highlighted my hair the week before, and it was perfect! She’s great at what she does.

Brush did wedding hair and make-​up for me, my bridesmaids, and Mom and mother-​in-​law. We all loved our hair and make-​up and I appreciated each stylist taking time to help every one figure out something we loved. I’m especially grateful to Nicole and Anastasia for my hair and make-​up — I felt so comfortable and beautiful and both my hair and make-​up made it through the entire night. I highly recommend Brush for weddings!
