There are two bookstores on the Healdsburg plaza, this one is better stocked, better organized, fresher feeling, lighter, brighter inside and more fun to browse.

Love love love this place. Great selection of all types of books and wonderful recommendations and employee favorites pointed out throughout the store. I went in to browse and walked away with 2 books. I found the little notecard descriptions very helpful and accurate. And the employee who checked me out was just lovely. I enjoyed chatting with him about favorite authors and the store. He told me about some of their events. An evening with Ruth Reichl coming up! He was enthusiastic and friendly! I wish I could come back for their events! I will definitely check in with them when I am headed their way next!

I love this bookstore! They have a wonderful children’s section– I always find books that I might not normally find in a large store like Barnes and Noble. They also have a great selection of new releases both in paperback and hardcover. I always come here when I visit Healdsburg. Just feel like my trip would not be complete without a visit to this lovely bookstore.

Cute little bookstore in Downtown Healdsburg. The bonus is that they have two resident cats that are really friendly! This is the perfect day to spend some time browsing through their book selection or checking out the tabloids. The staff here is really friendly and helpful.

Great local bookstore. You can stop in here to buy a beginner’s book to wine tasting before heading into the tasting rooms. Or you can just pick up a book to read when you relax in the park across the way. This local bookshop has a great selection. I found some great deals. If you love books, you’ll find your way to Copperfield’s.

There isn’t anything quite like a cozy bookstore. They are some of my favorite places to be. I know I’m a sellout and sold my soul to the Kindle devil, but it won’t ever have the same appeal as holding a real book between your hands. My heart goes out to places like Copperfield’s because I have a sinking feeling bookstores far and wide will be a thing of the past sooner rather than later. However, until that happens, Cofferfield’s is pretty great. The one in Healdsburg is pretty small, but small bookstores have the best feel. The staff knows every book by heart and are always willing to give great recommendations. Even if I’m not looking for a book, I pop in just to peruse. Being around books just makes you feel better. There selection isn’t huge, but their selection of books is quality. You’ll always find a winner here.

One of the best bookstores that I’ve been to that has a rather large section of used cookbooks for sale. The condition of the books are good and the prices are more than reasonable that you can’t help but take home 2, 3, or 4 cookbooks as souvenirs. I know I did!

What a great bookstore in the center of Healdsburg! The thing that caught my eye was the table of discounted books outside. There were a lot of really interesting titles and had my luggage not already weighed close to the 50 pound limit, I probably would have bought some. Instead, I went inside to purchase a book that I had on my to-read list. The books in this store are laid out with plenty of space, and there’s an entire room dedicated to even more discounted reads. The delicious smell wafting through the place comes from the pizza restaurant in the back. Try to deny that intoxicating scent as you browse the paperbacks and other cute gifts.

A wonderful local book store in the heart of Healdsburg. Very spacious with a lot to offer. I was looking specifically for a travel journal when I came here in and hadn’t quite found«the one» at other shops around the plaza, but found something funky and unique the minute I walked into Copperfield’s. I was also deeply appreciative of the gigantic Sale section in the second half of the store. Picked up a copy of a great Jasper Fforde book for $ 6! Score! Copperfield’s also has a full deli in the back, as well. I just felt a bit stupid when I tried to pay for my books at the deli counter… maybe I’m blind but I kind of wish there was some signage about that so I didn’t look like a complete idiot. Still, they were very nice about letting my boyfriend use their bathroom! I’d definitely come back and browse on my next trip to town.

Copperfield’s is a gem of a bookstore. They have one of the hugest magazine sections I’ve ever seen. Really great selection of every topic of book you can imagine and often times the paperbacks have 2-fer deals. At the back of the store is a café that offers delicious Italian food which can be eaten indoors or in the outdoor garden space. How nice! If I’m away for a weekend in Healdsburg, this is the place for me to while away some time and stock up on good reading material.

Copperfield’s is a wonderful local book chain. While Waldenbooks and Borders have gone under in the North Bay, Copperfield’s has survived. They’re a great place to hang out, they have couches… and in this case, a deli. Copperfield’s has a great sale section. I was able to get Sofia Tolstoy’s diaries(fitting here in the Russian River, and nearby Fort Ross was founded in 1812, the same year as Napoleon’s defeat at Borodino&the burning of Moscow) for a great price. The service is friendly. It’s busy on Labor Day weekend. I will definitely return! Read and enjoy.

This is my second favorite of the Copperfield’s stores. They have a better magazine selection than the one in Sebastopol and a GREAT selection of discount books for sale on the sidewalk. I went by the other day and picked up an older edition of the Silver Palate cookbook for $ 9.99. Nice!

I don’t know many bookstores that have full on deli’s in them but this place does. I went through the travel section while waiting for my order. Decent selection of travel books. It’s good to see that old fashioned bookstores still exist, and they’re even better when they have quality food inside!

Cute local bookstore. A good variety of books, cards, gifts, calendars, stationary and children section. Very family friendly and I love that there is a little pizza/gelato shop in the back! Did not purchase any books but grabbed a few cards… oh and strawberry/cream gelato! Yum!
