Wonderful food! My husband had the steak sandwich with yucca fries, he loved it(and he is VERY fussy(another Gordon Ramsey)! I had the salad with prawns — wonderful! The salad dressing was outstanding, the prawns succulent! Service wonderful!

This little gem is in the heart of Healdsburg, just a few miles above Santa Rosa. EVERYTHING on the menu is fabulous. Great service, great food in a small but pleasant setting. Especially loved the grilled halibut tacos. I see a lot of meals there in my future.

Unilocal reviews brought us here. Service and food excellent. Corn paella and ribs very good. Four stars because prices were appropriate for a first class ambiance. However extremely confined area and vulnerable to close tables with loud people too involved in wine tasting very negative. Good people and food but too expensive for venue.

For lunch I had the pork tacos, an incredible blend of flavors. They make the best coleslaw called cutido crunchy and spiced just right. The pork was slow cooked, juicy and delicious. Authentic El Salvadorian food. Yum.

A small gem of a restaurant. We only tried appetizers but they were very well done, creative interpretations of some classic otherwise boring dishes. Pupusas and corn were excellent, the yuca fries were decent.

Love! The calamari ceviche with mango dressing, vegetarian puposas, yucca fries, and chicken sandwich(forgot the name!) were fresh and made with love. The restaurant is small and intimate, and the service was so warm and friendly. Can’t wait to go back and taste the other offerings.

Loved that it wasn’t too crowded or noisy on a Saturday afternoon. Reminded me of an upscale restaurant in Peru. .. delicious food that shows care. The calamari ceviche was just terrific and the pupusas were outstanding. Really outstanding. The yucca fries were good, but we didn’t need them for lunch, ended up being too much food(although we ate it all).

We were eager to try this little place and we’re thrilled that we could actually make a reservation, especially nice since the restaurant only sits 20. The service was great and the food was delicious, we had the paella, pescado con coco, and the lamb and everyone was very pleased. Keep in mind that the paella isn’t typical, it had kind of a broth and was delicious and fresh. The chef came out to talk to us briefly and make sure that everyone was happy, which was a nice touch. Overall we will definitely be back!

Shocker! We have dined at every restaurant in Healdsburg and the surrounding area. Tried Guiso last night and had one of the best meals of all the great spots. 20 seats.(24 year old!) Chef owner Carlos worked the room. The presentations were creative. The flavors spanned from very good to outstanding. Service was great. Faves were the calamari appy and Pollo Relleno. Salad was light and refreshing. Street corn was very good as was the bouillabaisse. Definitely returning and soon! This guy(kid) is a rock star.

Another great restaurant find in Healdsburg. Yes I admit we’re spoiled. We just visited Guiso Latin Fusion for lunch today with friends. It was spectacular. We split the steak sandwich and pupusa for starters. I had the pulled pork tacos, 2 of our party had the fish tacos(mani-mahi today) and the last person had the cubano. Everything was fresh and yummy. We’ll definitely go back.

Bright, interesting variations on familiar dishes. This is becoming one of our favorite restaurants in Hbg. House made pickles hit perfect balance of spicy, sweet and sour. Don’t miss roasted corn appetizer! Our group had most of the main courses on the menu, and everyone raved about theirs… lamb, mahi mahi, steak, prawns, spare ribs. Also don’t miss the dessert that’s a little corn cake soaked in 3 cheeses and topped with ice cream… it’s the chef’s grandmother’s recipe and unique. The room is small, so call ahead.

Nice to see a new taste profile in Healdsburg. This tiny 8 table place has always had decent food in their prior establishments. We tried Guiso tonight and were happy with the meal, they still have some breaking-in and new restaurant learning curves but all in all it was a decent experience. We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer, and the ribs and fish for entrees. Tried to order two beers but were advised that they only had one left. Huh? One beer left at 6PM on a Friday night? Ok, so we opted for a bottle of wine instead. Started with the crab cakes which were tasty but small for the price. They were the size of silver dollars,(you do remember silver dollars don’t you) could have been a tad larger for the price, had the ribs and the wife had the fish, both dishes were tasty but a little underwhelming on the spicy department. The seasonings are done for Gringo tastes, safe and middle of the road. Serving portions were adiquate so dinner for two with tip was around $ 130 bucks. Their menu has something for everone, so we can’t wait to return to try some other dishes. I wish them all the luck hope them make it in such a small venue. The chef owner introduced himself and offered us a complementary desert which was a scoop of ice cream on a waffle of sort. Good and simple, dishes are basic, nice to see another place to visit in tourist-bound Healdsburg.

This place is awesome! It’s tiny, but it’s delicious. There were four in our party, and every dish was excellent. The only drawback for the night we were there was a very large party of about 20 twenty-something girls who were having a party of some sort. I think the restaurant seats 26– there was a couple next to us. We were all laughing and joking that we couldn’t hear ourselves think– much less each other, since the large party was SOLOUD! But after they cleared out, we got to meet the chef, who comped a dessert(fantastic by the way!). I am definitely coming back. Sonoma County has needed a nice, upscale Latin restaurant for a long time.

I recently had lunch at Guiso, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I made a reservation for 8, but one additional person showed up, and they were gracious about accommodating us.(It is a very small place.) I ordered the pupusas, which were heavenly. I would go back again just for those. Other people had the pulled pork tacos, the fish tacos, and even the hamburger, all of which were delicious! The hamburger came with yucca fries, which I tasted, and were bites of crispy yumminess. Several people ordered the ice tea, which came in adorable little mason jars. This is definitely a place I plan to frequent with my friends and family!

I love this restaurant! We went for lunch on a rainy afternoon and the ambiance was warm and inviting. The food was delicious. We had the elotitos, papusas, yucca fries, chicken and quesadillita. All were amazing and the service was wonderful. Guiso offers something a little different to our town, it is a welcome addition. Definitely a must try!

The service is excellent here. The food was very good with normal potion sizes. Flavors were good. We got to meet the chief which was pretty cool. It’a nice little restaurant to try. I believe they’ve been open for a few weeks now. What we had for dinner: –Appetizer: Pork pupusa –Main Course: Ribs and mashed potatoes in a delicious red sauce. Has a little spice to it, but nothing too hot. –Salvadoran Quesadilla with ice cream.
