I’ve had many things framed by Hammerfriar over the past few years, and I honestly couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. I recently brought in a pastel, that I inherited, to be re-framed by the owner Jill. Not only did she take the time to carefully assess the damage that was done to the work by a previous framer, but she also came up with a beautiful design that fit my budget. The piece is transformed and it has never been so beautiful. Also, the artwork in the gallery and atrium are worth the trip. I enjoy stopping in to see various unique pieces by local artists.

I dont live in the Santa Rosa, CA area, but my family does. When my brother passed away, we collected a bunch of photos of him. Jill of Hammerfriar Gallery brilliantly arranged all the photos, and painstakingly cut out openings for all 60+ pictures. Yes you read me right, there were that many because we could not bear to exclude any of the pictures we chose! Jill matted them all into one huge, beautiful work of art. The frame is of top notch quality. It has hung on my parents wall ever since. Thank you Hammerfriar for the amazing tribute to my brother. And thanks for using only products made in the USA.

When someone tells you over and over and over again about how good they are and that they are the best, most of the time is not true. That was the case with my experience with the owner Jill. She is definitely not the best. I brought two pieces of art in the have the glass replaced along with the shadow boxing. After waiting two and a half weeks. I finally picked up the pieces to find that the work that had been done was awful. The work was so bad that I had to take them to another framer and have them reframed and have the shadow boxes redone as well. She claims that both were in their existing condition, which is not true. I can’t believe the integrety of this women, she does not have any. Jill, you are not the best! CUSTOMERSBEWARE!
