Stopped by a few times before finally purchasing a pair of sauconys. The people that work here are great. I had spoke with Kim a couple times before going back in and although she wasn’t working, Ralph helped me out. They were both friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. The shoes were a little expensive but after already running in them, I can see why. They are awesome. Thanks!!! Great local shop I highly recommend Great run groups as well

I won a gift certificate for a pair of Hoka shoes at a running race and went here to buy the shoes. From the start the customer service was wonderful! Skip the owner I think introduced himself right away and they did not flinch when I pulled out a gift certificate. The service was amazing, and these shoes (I am a nike girl) are the best! I am getting older and need the extra support and am so grateful for their in depth explanation of the shoes and the customized fitting. They also have super stylish hats and other things there I had to buy! Will for sure go back, friendly, great atmosphere, knowledgable (the sweet gal who helped me was awesome)! I am a small business owner and really notice when folks go the extra mile, thanks!

I used to really like this place, but recently was in the store and had a poor experience.
To be clear, one of the younger employees was answering a sizing/​in stock question for me and was very helpful. Shopping experience would have been great had that been it. Mid conversation a more senior employee interrupted and was incredibly condescending toward me. Had it seemed like they were even trying to be a little helpful, I’d look past it, but frankly, she was just rude. I also overheard the same person griping at another customer.
I still appreciate everything they do for the community, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Went into this running store for the 1st time yesterday and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The owner Skip and team really knocked it out of the park for me and my husband. From electronically measuring our shoe size and identifying our arch support needs, they provided multiple shoe options that would enhance each of our running experiences and matched our unique fashion sense. Also, dog friendly which makes this a for sure stop next time we are in Healdsburg!

First of all, «I hate to run» but I needed a new pair of shoes and was blown away by the positive shopping experience.
The gents manning the store were super cool. They demonstrated great passion for running and were very patient and helpful finding the right shoe for me. This highly personalized shopping experience started with a computer measurement of my foot and then going outside several times as they watched me run to check my gait.
While ringing up my purchases, we had a few moments to talk about companies in the active lifestyle market (GoPro, Fitbit, Nike, Under Armour, etc) and whether they would be good stocks to invest in. All around great experience and I am excited to get back in shape. Thank you HRC.

Offers a great selection of running shoes and apparel. Staff is very knowledgable of both product and sport. Has a «come and hang out vibe» to the place. Great place to meet up with friends to go for a run as it’s centrally located. The shop offers a few fun runs each week and has courses mapped in the store to match your skill set and mood.
