I love this place. Evolution forces everyone going out in Healdsburg to come here around 10−11pm. That’s when everything else closes. Around midnight it’s popping and then it slowly settles down until they close around 2. Cheap drinks for Healdsburg.
Shuffleboard is fun if you haven’t tried it. Btw, you play the same direction (like curling) not with people on opposite sides sending back and forth. First to 15 wins. Of course there’s variations on the rules. But play the same way. It’s way more fun, trust me.
This is a place where it’s a nice mix of people of all ages, bachelorette parties and locals. It tends to get a little bit crazy which is all fun. Never had a boring night here. Obviously Friday and Saturday are the big nights. Friendly bartenders and a thumbs up to the bouncer who keeps everyone in order.

Service spotty, especially once the crowd formed (about 15 people). The wait for drinks was absolutely unacceptable!!! Jon Taffer would strangle these bar keeps. Horrible service, would not

Real good for a dive bar. Fun on a Saturday night. Cheap beers, pool, and shuffle board. The bathroom had a curtain rather than a stall for the pooper, so that’s the only minus star. Otherwise 5 stars

Fun and funky locals bar with awesome bartenders, rocking jukebox, pool and shuffleboard. Our favorite spot in town to hang whether it’s early on a tueaday or last call on Saturday. Cheers to Mikey and Tony and Big Pete!

Pretty cool place, clean and well done dive that feels welcoming and not too low ball, but come on guys, an 8ft curtain as the privacy on the toilets??? Spent a few hundred bucks and build some out of wood. Haha

This place is great. I don’t get it with all these 3 and 4 star reviews, you read them and they have nothing bad to say. Well how about 5 stars, people. Wth? This is a dive bar so I don’t know what you are expecting but as far as dives go this is it.
The selection is great, the prices (for Healdsburg) are reasonable and the owners are awesome. Mike works his tail off and he’s a super friendly guy.
I’m a local and seeing these less than 5 star ratings from out of towners puts a bee in my bonnet. If you don’t have anything bad to say then leave 5 stars, just like I am now! :)

Good locals bar, a bit on the dive side but hey some of my favorite bars are straight dives. Was here last Sat at about 11ish, it was packed and I liked that. A great mix of young 20-​somethings and older folks to, everyone was having a great time. We shared a table with a group of younger couples and within the hour we were buying them drinks and they were doing the same for us. If your in Healdsburg and don’t want to belly up to one of the fancier bars in town and there are many of those-​if your looking for a good neighborhood bar and don’t mind a few crusty patrons, this is your place.

Who doesn’t love a great dive bar? John & Zeke’s recently moved into their new space (the old B&B) and it is wonderful. Pool tables and shuffle board are great entertainment but it is the bartenders that make this place what it is. Yes it is jammed pack on the weekends and a good vibe during the week. Always feel safe like you are with family. Oh did I mention the drinks? Made just the way I like them, no sissy pours here. Thanks Tony, Mike and the rest of the gang for such a great hangout!

Love this place and especially now they moved because it looks the same! The guys that own it are awesome. The bar is the typical neighborhood bar on the weeknights where you can play shuffle board and hang with friends. Weekend nights… it’s a bar, so it’s slammed.

With a full-​size regulation shuffleboard table (a rarity these days), plenty of granulated wax to keep the weights moving, relief from the intense Sonoma sun and heat when you need it, a good selection of draft beer, friendly service, all set on bucolic Healdsburg Square, John & Zeke’s may be the best «local flavor» bar I have ever set foot in.

Cute little dive bar — an oddity in affluent Healdsburg. We enjoyed some beers here while waiting for a table at Scopa next door. We chatted with the friendly staff and patrons and enjoyed the shuffleboard table.

My favorite local bar when I am in town! Fun, casual atmosphere. Crowd ranges in age, good variety of music to choose from in the jukebox. If the bartenders don’t know how to make a drink, they are open to testing it out.

Very friendly bartenders who pay attention to whether you have a drink or not, and if you don’t, offer you water. Sound silly but believe me, it makes you feel like you’re being taken care of! Pretty loud atmosphere. Cuz. It’s. A. Bar. Great pre-​dinner drinks spot.

Its conveiently located on the square.
Its far cheaper.
Games…oh…games.
Pool, shuffle board, and darts.
Haven’t partaken in the hot dogs that everyone talks about, but apparently they are there at all hours.

This place lost a star for me last weekend.
I was in after another party that I had hosted with a group of people — we took over about half the bar, and the place was packed.
The popcorn was burnt (boo — but not the reason for lack of star)
the service was god aweful. It took forever to get a drink.
also, maybe it was my lack of being extremely drunk, but the accoustics in this place suck. way too loud, especially with all the drunks trying to yell over the juke box.
I used to think that if it was too loud — you were too old, but this place might have proved that theory wrong.
