Brianna the manager is great. She had a wild amount of wine knowledge and describes things so eloquently that you really know what you’re tasting and I learned a lot about how to understand wine, my taste, and how to communicate what my mouth is telling me. The staff was very friendly and the building is over the top beautiful. My favorite.. the cab franc

I had a wonderful experience at Lambert Bridge. The wine server Kim, was nice and friendly and is extremely knowledgeable about the wines she pours. We chose the classic flight, and she also allowed me to try the merlot which was not included in my flight, and that was by far my favorite wine. A beautifully decorated tasting room with excellent service and great wines. If something is not on your flight, just ask politely, and you might just get it!

We’ve enjoyed coming to the winery for the past two years and happily signed up to the wine club membership by Jim McFadden, the tasting room manager. Loved his knowledge of wine and low pressure style. We learned so much from him. However we recently learned that he is no longer there which may change our future plans there. Although we like the wine we’d like to find out where Jim went as we are sure wherever he is its with more good wine. If anyone knows can they post it please?

We had scheduled a food and wine pairing at Lambert Bridge based on the reviews. It didn’t disappoint. When we arrived, the tasting room was fairly full and noisy. People were having a good time. It took a couple of minutes to find out the pairing was in the Redwood Barrel Room. We went through the door and once it closed, the noise level dropped considerably. We were led to our waiting table with the customized menu for the day. Our wine educator came over and gave us a little speech about the winery and wines and then poured a glass of Chardonnay. What I liked was that he didn’t hover over us, but still kept an eye on the table. When we ready for the next glass, he would appear, pour, tell us about the wine, and then move away. The food paired well with the wines. We spent about an hour and half altogether, enjoying the ambiance and revisited the cab for a second taste. What a nice break from standing at the bar for a tasting.

If you want to have a wonderful experience with a wine tasting… you should definitely go to Lambert Bridge. We had a young lady(Erin Meyer) who was extremely knowledgeable and fun. 5 stars!!! Can’t wait to go back!

I could give 1 star but have chosen to give 2 stars because the property, grounds, and tasting room are all quite gorgeous. And the wine wasn’t terrible. Other than the beauty of the property, I was very turned off by this winery in many ways. 1. The staff members are very, very, very snooty. 2. Their wines are insanely overpriced and the wines don’t deserve to be priced that high. 3. Their tastings are above average in cost and only entail very small pours. One pour can disappear with a sip! Tastings are way too small. Comes across cheap… especially in light of their high tasting fees. 4. They appear to have a strict tasting program and the staff members were very uncomfortable with the idea of changing the selection(even though the wines were all at their fingertips). 5. They first greet you in front, outdoors, but it’s all just pomp and circumstance. The front door greeter doesn’t offer you wine or provide you with anything. It’s all quite silly.

Wine was good, probably a 7 of 10 — but the tasting portions are very, very small and the prices for a bottle are too high.

We were really excited to visit Lambert Bridge on this trip to the Dry Creek Valley. We’d both heard and read great things about it so maybe we were expecting perfection. Perfection it was not. The staff was very friendly. The person who was pouring for us was also pouring for a couple who were club members but preferred to taste at the main bar rather than in the club room. They were super chatty and friendly and granted, because they were there, she did let us taste off the pouring menu so we tried pretty much everything. While the people were nice and the grounds were lovely and the tasting room is grand, the wine was NOT worth the $ 40 we paid to taste it(we shared both tastings). In fact, there was only one wine that even sort of tasted good but I was not going to spend $ 110 on an ok wine. I thought perhaps my taste buds were off but when we walked out my date said the same things about his. Just not good. If you’re looking for beautiful grounds, then this is a must stop. If you’re actually looking for great wine, save your money and skip this and try one of the dozens of other wineries in the valley with more reasonable tasting fees and better wine.

1÷18÷2015 Lambert Bridge is an absolute gem. Yes, their wines are expensive. No, they don’t waive their tasting fees with purchase(unless you’re a club member). However, the tastings, and the wine, are worth every penny. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and I’ve always had an amazing experience every time I’ve been there(10+ times). I frequently recommend Lambert Bridge Winery to family and friends, and they always report five-star service. I am pretty shocked to see some really negative reviews of this winery. One recent review is written by a woman that has never been to the winery or even tasted the wines. Other reviews are about having to wait a few minutes to get served. At a busy winery, that will happen sometimes. The level of service that the tasting room staff provides is very in-depth and takes time. Trust me, it’s worth the wait.

Two stars because the property and the tasting room are an absolute beauty. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes, and tried to get attention from any of the 6 people behind the counter with no luck. Ended up visiting two other vineyards, tasted, and signed up for a wine club. This winery just lost $ 400/year plus the money we spent today on one bad customer experience.
