A week ago, I went to the ER to get a CT scan after having persistent stomach and pelvic pain a few days before. Earlier that same day I went to see my physician to see what it was, but they weren’t sure of what I had either. The CT scan showed that I had an inflamed appendix. Good thing I caught it early because it wasn’t going to get any better, and it was just a matter of time until it would eventually burst.
I knew I was in good hands when they told me Dr. Bailey was going to be my surgeon. He is a friendly, knowledgeable and professional guy. Excellent bedside manners and explained to me exactly what was going on and what he was going to do during the surgery. The surgery took a little over an hour and I woke up with three small incisions in my pelvic region. I just got back from seeing him today at his office in Healdsburg and everything is GREAT!
I went home the same day. Dr. Bailey didn’t list any restrictions or limitations to my recovery. My stomach area felt a little sore for two days, but each day was a HUGE difference (maybe I heal pretty fast too?).
I highly recommend Dr. Bailey if you’re looking for a surgeon to do an appendectomy, and I can surely say that if you end up needing a surgeon for this instance, you are in excellent hands. Thanks so much, Dr. Bailey!!! (Also, Dawn at his office is super friendly. My check-​in post surgery visit was pretty fast. Great surgeon and great staff)
