Wholesome, small town, classic old time country fair featuring a nice array of traditional exhibits, entertainment and food. This fair is truly off the beaten path, located as it is in the middle of nowhere in northwest MA, almost to the Vermont border. It doesn’t get much more small town in this part of New England than this. Attracts a primarily local crowd with much less of a carnie flavor than some of the other New England fairs. It’s a small fair, so don’t expect to spend more than 2 – 3 hrs, and certainly not worth a special trip to the area, but if you live within 30 minutes or find yourself in the region the 3rd weekend of August, stop by for a slice of classic Americana.
