Iron Skillet

I am all for eating in good Truck Stops… but this is not one of them. While it’s a nifty little deal, serving all the food on ‘iron skillets’ instead of plates… I’d have hoped it would have been better.
8 of us stopped for breakfast on a roadtrip… there were only about two other tables occupied at the time… and it took us nearly an hour to get our food! That ain’t how truck stops work… our breakfast stop lasted for about 85 minutes, and we ordered right away!
The food was mediocre, nothing worth having to wait so long! Pancakes were average, eggs were a little over cooked… honestly, I feel like we should have waited and gone a little further down 65 and gotten something else, we’d have paid the same and gotten better food.
