First time at Modern Nails and I’m sure I’ll be going back. The nail techs and owners were all very pleasant and the shop was clean and well organized. I felt very pampered and was pleased with how my shellac manicure turned out. My only complaint is that there didn’t appear to be any air conditioning and rivulets of sweat dripped down my face. To be fair, i was the only person in there who seemed to be hot so maybe it’s me!

I left Modern Nails today feeling like a QUEEN! Wow, what an awesome experience. They give many extras that are included in their price that other salons charge extra for. Definitely going back!

I’ve always had gread pedicures at Modern Nails. (never had a manicure there though) The pedicures are almost an hour long, complete with a shoulder rub while your nails are drying. It is clean and friendly, and I’m still surprised that the owner remembers my name each time, even though I only go about once a month. It’s usually quiet with some calm music playing, and a lovely experience.

I’ve gone here for a number of pedicures and I’m definately a fan. After three visits you get your own little storage box for scrubs etc that are only used for your service which is very nice. Friendly, efficient folks working there and the atmosphere is comfortable.

I am surprised that Modern Nails hasn’t been reviewed before on Unilocal.I highly recommend this place for the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the establishment (including the refreshing absence of harsh chemical fumes), and the value one receives for the services offered. For $ 42.00 (12 for the manicure and 30 for the pedicure) I got a manicure and pedicure that included a hot stone massage for my feet and calves and a paraffin treatment for my hands. After ten manicures/​pedicures you can get a free eyebrow wax. They also do facial hair waxes as well as underarms, arms, legs, and bikini areas.
