Worst customer service I’ve EVER received. Horrible. I came to visit from Seattle and I was shocked. The woman at the counter was VERY rude, unprofessional. I was extremely offended. The two people behind me also left the store due to her behavior. I’ve never been treated like that and will NEVER be back. I do however highly recommend Haversham winery right down the street! Classy, excellent customer service, free wine tasting right as you walk in the door and reasonably priced.

The man working was incredibly rude. I didn’t expect much from a winery in Georgia to begin with, but a mixture of gross way over priced poorly made wine and rude employees does not make for a good business. The only thing keeping this place afloat is the study influx of unaware tourists. The idea of a «wine tasting» is fun and exciting for many people but I highly doubt there are very many returning customers. Perhaps you should take a trip to an actual wine country like the Finger Lakes and take notes while you are there.

Its true, the lady at the counter is abrupt and controlling… I even cracked a few jokes to try to lighten her up… It didnt help… I was ready to leave… If you can get through her gruff attitude you might find a good wine or two…

The store says free wine tasting but when you go in it takes forever to get someone to help you. If you’re lucky you will get a person who is willing to help you and not act like you are a hassle for them.

We saw the sign for free wine sampling and were genuinely interested in buying a bottle but when we entered no one was behind the counter. When the gentleman showed up 5 minutes later he was very rude and unwelcoming. He then proceeded to pour me a mouse’s portion of wine to sample(like a drop). I then decided to skip the rest of the tasting and got out of there.

From the moment we walked in, the woman behind the counter had major attitude. She was very controlling and chose the wines for us to sample. She wouldn’t let us tell her what we wanted to try. I didn’t care much for the ones I tried anyway, but based on her attitude I would not give her my business. There is a winery called Habersham about a mile away that I’ve heard great things about but I ran out of time.

Young ‘gentleman’ behind the counter treated us as if we were bothering him when we asked about the muscadine wine. Not friendly at all. Visitors beware!

We were not very impressed with the wine tasting experience. The young man was not very personable. A friend loves their blueberry wine.
