After a long night of gambling and drinking I was dying for my coffee. Very nice, cute place. Vanessa was the cashier and the cook, she was funny and very sweet. Will come back tomorrow for another coffee

I call this place The Miracle of Helena. Its conveniently located just a few blocks from my office so I go there almost everyday. I love everything about Bailee Mae’s. Awesome food, fabulous coffee, great tasting beer. Their service is excellent and it’s ALWAYS clean. The employees are courteous and friendly and the owners are very sweet people.

Helena finally has a coffee shop in the historic downtown, and it does not disappoint! Located on the ground floor of the old Lewis Supply Building( ), this lofty, well-lit space is perfect for catching a quick lunch with co-workers or grabbing a beer after work or just old-fashioned people watching(even though you know all the people, because they’re your friends and neighbors and cousins– this is a small town!). In truth, however, this is really a combination coffee shop, café, and wine bar. They have craft beer on tap(currently they feature Diamond Bear, an Arkansan brewery) and both a breakfast and a lunch/dinner menu. A coffee or Americano with a breakfast sandwich is a standby for me in the mornings; I’m grateful to finally have a [far superior] alternative to McDonald’s. For lunch or dinner, I recommend the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich, and you can’t go wrong with the BLAT. Mac & Cheese topped with bacon crumbles is another favorite of mine. The menu is simple, but interesting enough to satisfy those with more exotic tastes. They do have cactus chili, which I haven’t tried yet, and a couple of more adventurous flat breads. As a bonus, it’s one of the few places in the area that a vegetarian can have a tasty meal that’s more than just some version of «salad»(though their enormous Butter Bowl IS one heck of a salad). The black bean burger is a treat for veggies and meat eaters alike. The service is attentive and friendly, as you would expect in a small town coffee shop where everyone knows everyone.

Nice addition to historic Helena. Their coffee is excellent and the ambience is nice. And they serve beer other than Budweiser. Thank you!
