Guys. Who had any idea you could get a great massage like this in the little town of Helena! Staying about an hour south in a vacation rental, my landlord hooked me up with this therapist, who, blissfully, does deep tissue and has a long list of modalities she provides. She rents a room in another spa but it’s sizeable and has a back area for you to change/​put your stuff in. Although the room can get warm, I figure that’s good for massage anyway (cold = stiffer joints and muscles).
Sarah has some strength on her! Sometimes I don’t prefer female therapists because they have poky fingers and needling knuckles/​elbows, but she has good «spread.» Example: rather than stabbing you with an elbow joint to trace your scapula (most female therapists do this, and I’ve had hundreds of therapist massages) which can be very uncomfortable/​too sharp of a sensation, she uses the flat of her forearm. Yay!
She helped me work out some intense carpal tunnel I had let get out of hand (punny!) and then loosen up a really tight IT band I hadn’t been treating properly
Friendly and professional, with a comfortable and sturdy massage table! It is does not adjust up/​down but she has pillows/​bolsters, etc.
PS – Her pricing is amazing. She could charge $ 150 in Cali, I am not kidding. Be grateful, for her rates, and see her often! :)
