I thought the store was great! I rented a house in Helena to visit my folks for the month of May and needed a few items. I’m not familiar with the area and didn’t want to run around everywhere. so Walmart was the perfect solution. They had everything I needed! The store was huge — it’s a super store — and I found the store well stocked and the staff was very nice when I asked where certain items were located :-)

The progressive activist in me wants to give Wal-​Mart one star, like it deserves. However, this was the first and only Wal-​Mart I have ever ever ever been to in my life… and I LOVED it.
Maybe it was because it was 2am and I was so desperate for allergy medicine that it seemed like some kind of desert oasis. Or maybe it was because I’d been in Helena (ie, the country) for a week and I desperately needed to be surrounded by THINGS again. Or maybe it was all the bright lights and the rows and rows and rows of toys and ice cream and I had the munchies.
Whatever it was, the Helena Wal-​Mart made for a very pleasant «CityGirl Goes to the Big Bad Box Store» experience, and I look forward to going back.
