Not a bad joint. Contrary to the other reviewer I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. Subs are good, although a bit inconsistent. Nevertheless, it’s a great place to pop in and get what you need in a hurry. Very convenient.

Customer service is a joke.
On several occasions upon entering the store, I only wanted to buy a newspaper & lottery tickets, I stood there while the 2 attendants chit-​chatted, milled about behind the deli counter, they were aware of my presence. Neither one attempted to wait on me after over 5 minutes of me waiting. I was the ONLY customer in the store.
If they were to give free merchandise away, I would NOT set foot in there again.
Don’t know how they can run a business like that & survive.
I bid you adieu Helmetta Foods, now & forever…

I usually prefer Wawa’s over independent convenience stores as they are usually more modern and better organized and maintained. But on my one visit, this one seemed to be comparable.
