Dr. Palomera sent me to the Helotes office for physical therapy for severe elbow pain. I was real skeptical at first because my pain was intense. Scheduling was very easy. On the day of my appointment I walked into their beautiful facility and was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in the door. Jessica was my Physical Therapist who did my evaluation. She tested my motion and strength and saw that my shoulders and upper back were weak. She agreed with the doctor’s assessment but felt like the pain was coming from my shoulder and neck. She was able to move my shoulder in certain ways and gave me some exercises. Within 7 visits I was pain free and I was able to get back to doing my normal activities. Thanks to Momentum Physical Therapy and their wonderful staff for their great work. I would highly recommend this place for patients needing Physical Therapy.

After weeks of therapy, I had no improvement. Three years later I received a check for over $ 400 of overcharges found when they audited their system. They charged me And my insurance.

I haven’t actually been to therapy yet, but both a receptionist/​scheduler and a therapist bent over backwards to help me. I have a rare neurological disorder and one of the therapists in the group has worked with it some, but he usually practices at a location almost an hour from my house. Since it is painful for me to be in a car, he agreed to see me at a closer office and I’m already grateful for the support I’m receiving.

The Momentum Physical Therapy in Helotes, Texas is the rudest group of people I have ever met or had the displeasure of meeting in my life. They set up an appointment for me per a prescription from my doctors office after total knee replacement and lied by saying they’d had to cancel the appointment (supposedly leaving a message for me on my cell phone-​which I never received) because they’d not gotten a referral from my provider. The problem? They told me when I ARRIVED for my appointment! So another full week down the drain waiting to rehabilitate a new knee! And they were rude to me in front of a room full of waiting patients. I discourage you from this place. Try somewhere where they treat you like a person and not an animal.

I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Everyone is so welcoming and I felt like family by my second visit. They not only effectively work towards getting you healthy, but they also build a relationship with you and make your experience enjoyable. I did my therapy at the medical center location, but they have many locations available in San Antonio for your convience.
