We gave a bad review last February but last Sunday went back for breakfast. WOW, what a difference… the food was delicious (as before) but HOT and fresh! Seems a whole new attitude and the service wea absolutely exceptional… and we mean EXCEPTIONAL! And that made the food even better than the old Pops that we had always loved. Great to be back!

yes!!! most definitely the best, closest to home cook breakfasts, burgers, & soups!!! steve previous longtime owner had a standard that carries on even tho he has moved away!!! we miss him!!! the new owners are really matching up and then some.variety.being added with daily specials. and ian has been making some awesome soups!!! so happy he stayed on!!! now, their waitress «tammy» is truly spot on with her service, making sure we and everyone else eating are not in need of anthing. making it a truly homey and family like experience. she truly cares !!! yes, and the other waitresses follow her example!!!
so happy they are here in hemet. and are consistant in reasonably priced generous quality offerings!!! sabrina & ricky

I don’t like giving bad reviews, but had to on this one. The food was bad and super expensive. I ordered 2 small Orange juices and 1 large that came out to be $ 15, I saw them pour orange juice from a gallon you can buy at a grocery store. I basically bought them 3 more gallons of orange juice. I was very disappointed will not be returning.

Little whole in the wall local place.
Small small dining area. Needless to say the food is good. I have to stay that the hamburger patty and the pancakes are my favorite. My husband like the B&G.

Biscuits, gravy and a side of sausage is a meal. Very tasty. Lots of great sandwiches for lunch. Good soups for cold days and really good daily specials.

Great food, Fast Service quickly becoming a regular here. Staff very friendly, portions are huge, while prices are very cheap compared to most places I have been to. Highly recommend this place if u love breakfast !!

Food is generous and inexpensive. Very good flavors. Reminds me of the midwest! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the sweet tea in the mason jars. The service was great, down to earth, and just like home. Pop cooks on Mon, Tuesday, and Wednesday so we got the real deal! Recommend this place on a lazy weekday morning when you have nothing going on and want some homecooked food.

Best Breakfast hands down!!! Most everyone is VERY friendly and seem to be regulars. The place is small, so be prepared for a wait. It is cash only, which I wasn’t prepared for.

An awesome small town diner that provides great food and service. The menu is full of yummy meals and the amount of food you get for the money is awesome. Don’t be surprised if you can’t finish it. The blueberry pancakes were really good. Lastly the staff is so nice and you get to know them so when you return your part of the family. :-) we are so glad we found this place. Yes it could use a little larger but only because they are so popular. They get people in and out quickly without feeling rushed. Highly recommended.

Food was good but place is way too small. I felt like we were in a 12×12 room cramped. The service was good and the food not bad but nothing to go out of my way for. Maybe if they expand they may be better. Prices were alittle high also for the portions.

This place is just pure small diner goodness! I’ve been to a lot is small diners and they are very plane in flavor or lack portion. Not Pop’s Country Café, so sir, this place is delicious and the prices are great! Stop in and ask for a glass of orange juice, they might tell you right there that their orange juice is the best. It’s no lie. Order their skillet and you’ll need a to go box. Their twist on biscuits and gravy is to dye for.

Never will I be going to this place again!!! Was neglected by the staff!!! Had to ask for refills… and was charged for the refills full price!!! They only except cash only!!! They don’t even own a register the waitress did all the calculating with a calculator!!! Very unprofessional if you ask me that’s no way to run a restaurant!!! I ordered two kids lunches and two adult lunches walked out of there spending $ 50!!! I was not happy that’s a little pricey for a hole in the wall restaurant!!!

Myself and a friend went there for breaksfast last week. We both had the Junkyard breakfast there was alot of food. I couldnt tell you whats in it but it was very good. The biscuits and gravy are great. I was told by the waitress that he makes them fresh everyday. and I could tell I love that place I will be back for sure
The people that work there are really great The place is small but if you just wait they will get you in very fast. While we were sitting eating I know there were three parties of more then 4 waiting to get seated. It couldnt have been more then 10 minutes and all 3 parties were seated.
