After checking out 2 other places to stay at for a night before a funeral, we decided to go with this place. Though not very clean, it was better than the Vagabond and the Quality Inn. Cheaper than Quality Inn, too. I did notice some bugs but, it was more tolerable than the other 2 places. It had the typical motel stench. We didn’t try the breakfast. They could expand their parking lot to accommodate their guests. For a quick stay, this place is the better motel choice in this area.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Love Wyndham Hotels and Travelodge but this one is not what it seems. There’s no smoking on the door to the room and they tell you the same but it reeks of it. So nasty. I do not even want to sleep in the bed because the feel of the room is gross and nasty. The rugs to the floor is filthy and dark. Your feet are dirty and black color when you look at it. The bathroom want even clean. There was hair in the tub and one of the towels. The pool is dirty and the hot tub. Crazy that the pool guy came finally and told us we had to go so he can clean it. When he was done it looks the same. The breakfast isn’t right either. Just pastries are small, oj, coffee tastes old, cereal and milk with small juice boxes. I understand it’s continental breakfast but that’s not what it is. The price though was semi ok. But not for the parking! There isn’t any. It’s taken up by the beauty school and Denny’s.

This hotel would be OK if they actually had rooms that someone has not smoked in and a places to park. I realize that rude people smoke in rooms when they are not supposed to but our room really reeked of smoke. Parking is a nightmare as the Denny’s that shares the lot has a cocktail lounge. There are only a limited number where you would feel safe leaving your car. Lot’s of marginal looking people hanging around the parking lot and the halls at night. Once in the room it is OK for the price and we stayed here 3 nights visiting the grandkids. Doubt if we stY here again.

We rented a room for an over night stay to be close to the Temecula hot air ballon festival June 6th2015. This was the last hotel we could find that had any type of room available. We had a late check in and ended up checking out just a couple of hours later. We drove 2 hours to this hotel only to find our room was infested by cockroaches. Under the circumstances the staff responded with excellent customer service and refunded our transaction. Unfortunately for us, since there were no other hotel/motels available, we ended up driving home and missing the entire event. Very disappointed.

We checked in to the Travelodge and the staff was friendly enough, the room was clean. The non smoking room smelled like an ashtray, but that’s not their fault, it’s inconsiderate smokers. Smokers, get a clue, don’t smoke in a non smoking room. Room was large. However, the people next door had snuck a dog into their room, which literally barked all night. We could not sleep, I called the front desk, finally at 3 am to complain. She informed me they weren’t supposed to have a dog, had received multiple complaints, and that she would talk to them. The dog continued to bark all night until 8 am when we checked out. My son slept through it, but he was the only one, my wife and I literally did not sleep. I haven’t pulled an all nighter since college 20 years ago. Upon checkout, I asked for a refund, since I had purchased a service from them(sleep) that they could not provide. They said they gladly would, but since it was booked through Orbitz, the refund would have to come through them. The refund process through Orbitz was incredibly unwieldy(unfriendly customer service policy) and not even worth all the back and forth. The only remedy that would truly work would be to NOTBOOKTHROUGHORBITZ. I would have a refund if it weren’t for Orbitz. The pool was nice. But this place still needs some attention(see attached photo). this place would have 1 star except for a glowing 5 star review from, and I quote, «Qwashonna from Compton».(laughs loud, long and hard). I think that situation speaks for itself. Maybe Travelodge should adopt a new motto: «Crackheads love us».

I’m writing this on my phone in lieu of showering because there is no hot water and when I call the front desk to ask for another room to shower in, there’s no answer. I’m also writing this on my phone in lieu of writing it on my computer because the free wifi doesn’t work. I didn’t expect a whole lot from this Travelodge that shares a parking lot with a Denny’s that advertises its cocktail lounge. I am traveling for work and everywhere else was booked during my late-night search, so here I am, just needing a place to sleep and shower. After all, aren’t those the minimal requirements to call yourself a hotel?(Or motel? Or travel lodge?) Somewhere to sleep and somewhere to shower? The bed wasn’t comfortable, but I slept like a rock swaddled in weirdly crispy sheets, and I would’ve showered like a champ too if there had been any hot water to do it in. I don’t want to give this place even one star, but since that’s the Unilocal minimum, I will attribute that star to the fact that there’s an In n Out within fifty yards of the building.

Lisa the lady at the front desk she was awesome. I give this hotel 5 stars because I enjoyed their updated room with queen beds and flat screen tv. Bed was soft and comfortable. When returning to hemet I will come back there. PRICEWASLOVELY!
