So I was visiting family who lives in Henderson. I needed a haircut in the worst way. I went to this establishment with my cousin who comes here when he is also in the area. Upon arriving we were greeted and asked what kind of services we would like done. I just said I wanted a haircut and beard line up. When asked how I wanted it cut, which was a faded pompadour, I was referred to Lilly who is one of the barbers. Along with the other barber, the other stylists are cosmotologists. I was told Lilly is the pompadour expert and would take great care of me. While waiting, they ask all the customers if they would like a bottle of water, which my first reaction is this place is very friendly and hospitable. So now the haircut. When Lilly was done, who also cut my cousins hair, she invited me over to the chair and immediately introduced herself and extended her hand. She knew I was visiting but made me feel right at home. She asked how I wanted my hair done, and she said that the hairstyle I asked for is her favorite to do. I was very excited since now back home Im looking for a new barber who can excecute this style. And let me tell you. Lilly has some mad skills with the trimmers and scissors. Her technique I believe is the difference to perfecting this style as opposed to my old barber, who for whatever reason just never got it done with me. I can tell she has alot of passion in what she does. She took her time and when we were done even the male barber next to us said if I lived here I would probably be in every month. I would say that would be an accurate statement. She asked me if she could take pictures as a reference for other clients, and I happily obliged. I thanked her very much for making my day and promised I would be back when I’m in the area

5 Stars my butt!!! Maybe for men’s hair cuts, but NOT for color. I had a woman in the salon color my hair and it was a complete disaster. She was incredibly sweet but doesn’t know a darn thing about coloring someones hair. I went home trusting that she knew what she was doing, especially since she told me she was a color expert… HA, HA. When she was done with my hair, she kept saying how great it looked. And later when I got home and REALLY got a good look at what she had done, I was distraught. She had basically foiled giant chunks of bleach in the back and mix matched areas through out the rest of my hair. I also noticed something was off with the way she had«trimmed» my hair as well. I demanded my money back a few days later, even though the owner was trying to talk me into letting them fix it… whatever! «Do you really think I would let any one of you touch my hair again?» So, I called a color corrections gal at another salon and she was able to start the process of fixing it. I still have to go back in a month and finish. She was worried that doing too much might cause major breakage!!! She also fixed the hack job«trim» that was done… My NEW stylist couldn’t believe what had been done; she was totally dumbfounded. I now have to spend MORE money to continue with the process of it being fixed! So wrong I tell you!!!

I have been in Henderson since Last May. Moved from MN. My partner and I have had quite a hard time trying to find someone who really knew what they were doing with our hair. Well, we found it in Anthem Hills barber Shop. It is way more than a barber shop! Nice atmosphere, friendly, Nice comfortable chairs. We go to Laura. She is a real gem. Really knows how to cut and style hair. I haven’t had such a good style in years. I thought they were really going to get me at the cash register, but that was not the case. Good prices,(not $ 10.00 like the quick cut places) but not bad at all. Love, Love Love this place and Love Laura. Hope you will give her a try. Also, I noticed some of the barbers cutting kids hair and they are so great with kids. Great cuts too. Do give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Nora, a loyal customer.

If you are looking for the old school style barbershop where people know you, it is a community and you are not a number, this is the place. 1, Parking — No issue, small strip mall at the end of Eastern in Henderson. 2. Ambiance — Inside, it is a mix of old world traditional charm. Nice heavy wood furniture throughout the entire place, big, comfy barber chairs and simply charming, simple and nice. 3. Price — Just like all other places. They have deals for kids during the summer. 4. Stylists — Here is the key. Everyone is friendly, casual, professional and seem to be dedicated to the clients. It is a community and it is a place where you want to come back. They are all very, very nice. 5. How — Most of time, you have to make appointment. I kinda like the let’s just go to fantastic sams, great clip and get it done type of thinking, and when I do, I get that type of haircut. So, I simply get organized, plan out appointments for the kids and get them done on the dates that we make appointments. Hard to do and very easy to do too! Give them a call, you will NOT be dissappointed.
