Anthem Nails

Upon walking into the the nail salon, you could tell they were disorganized. They had no idea how to handle walk-​ins versus those who have made appointments. I decided to get a gel manicure. After the first day it chipped completely. My remaining nails peeled off on the third day. Worst manicure experience ever! I can’t believe I sent $ 30 plus a tip on this place. It was worth $ 3.

The receptionist told me I could come in and see someone right away for my pedicure. upon arriving I waited ten minutes in the waiting area, got put in a chair finally and was told the girl that was supposed to do my pedicure was finishing up. Waiting another 15 – 20 minutes only for her to work on someone else. If you can handle the volume then don’t take walk-​ins.

They rush thru the process. Not very friendly staff. Been here three times only because it’s close to our house. They do an ok job but not great. Too many nail salons in town to just be average.

I’ve been going to the salon since it opened 9 years ago and the service has always been great. All of the staff is friendly and the salon is very clean.

Got my eyebrows done here! Great price and the guy did really well! He really seemed to care about how they turned out. He said he was finished then had me go back so he could fix some things. I finally found a spot I love and they do a great job.

Don’t bother with this place. Every time I’ve been here they never take you on time and I am currently getting the worst pedicure of my life. She took less than ten minutes to cut my nails and cuticles, she used and electric drill on my skin. I kept pulling my foot away to say the drill hurt and she held my foot down to keep drilling away. Next up is the half-​assed massage used with JUST cuticle oil. No lotion. Their polish selection is atrocious. And they are extremely unsanitary. Complete waste of time and money. You’re better off driving down the hill to Eastern rather than staying in Anthem.

Great place to get a pedi with a friend. I’ve come here for pedis with my daughter and friends This place is well equipped, clean and comfortable.

I have tried 5 different nail techs here so far. Kevin is my favorite. I work with my hands and often break my nails. I don’t know what he is doing different but my nails do not break when he does it. I was finally able to grow my nails long enough. Sadly he was out of town a few times I went and my nails have broken since I started going to the others. Not even lasting me a week. Please come back Kevin!

Not the most friendly staff especially when you go back in to fix a chip on gel nails under a week of getting them done. They don’t guarantee their product, you have to pay for a touch up. On another occasion, after giving them the benefit of the doubt, my nails changed color after one day. I went in the second day after service and asked for them to fix it and they were really cold and defensive about why the color changed. I think customer service is really important and I left with a bad taste I’m my mouth upon leaving. There are sooo many mail salons around that I would rather take money somewhere else:(

If you go here, please get Elvid. He’s been doing my nails for almost two years and he does an amazing job. He never fails to give me what I want. Plus, he’s super down to earth! But make an appointment for him. He gets booked up easily.

Anthem Nails is ok if I don’t have time to make an appointment somewhere else. You can usually walk in and get in within 15 minutes.

I will NEVER go back to this place again!!!
I took my mom here to give them a try and it was horrible. The lady that I had was rude and mean. I was talking to my mom and my foot moved and she grabbed my leg with her fingers and picked it up and slammed it to the place she wanted it to be at and left a bruises on my leg. I did let the lady that was working on me that I was extremely rude. After that incident I did let her know that I’m ticklish and sensitive on the bottom of my feet so if she would know. When she took the pumice stone to the bottom of my foot I pulled away a little because being ticklish and (she) the pedicurist grabbed my foot and told me to stop moving and held my foot down hard. I was very upset and told her so.
The other lady (pedicurist) that was working on my mom was using the implements on my mother very hard and unnecessarily. I asked my mom if she was okay and she said that it was a little painful but my mom never wants to make a scene so she dealt with the painful pedicure. I wouldn’t ever put up with bad service which is why I am putting up this review… My mom told her that she was too rough but I do not believe that she spoke English because my mom told her twice and she never even stopped or even looked up at her at all.
The other issue that I have is… The implements were not clean. They took the implements out of this plastic bag that was not sealed and poured them out in a towel. I noticed that at the end of this disaster of a pedicure that they both saved the bag that the implements came in and put them right back into that same bag. While the pedicure was being done, I also noticed that when she was cleaning my toes that any extra dead skin and clippings, she put back into my water that my feet were soaking in. Absolutely gross!!!

Just moved here to Henderson and I absolutely love this nail salon… Kevin was awesome! So helpful, kind and funny and omg my nails are absolutely gorgeous!!!

They really need keep track of walk in’s they don’t communicate with anyone, and people get pissed off when they wait for awhile.

Danny did a great job on my pedicure! Very relaxing! Nice and clean salon. Prices are reasonable. Normal pedicure is $ 23.

I’m surprised to see all the positive feed back. I had my nails done last week. I swear a 5 year old could have done a better job. They’re lumpy and 5 days later are lifting. I am having them done tomorrow at the place I usually go to. Seeing the good reviews maybe I’ll try again. Just not the same girl.

Love this place! I live in southern highlands area and drive all the way to Anthem to see Linda. She’s amazing! The place is really clean, which is a MUST. There are many color options and always have a really good experience with a mani/​pedi/​wax.
I used to get my nails done somewhere else but the gel would last me 1 – 2 weeks, being in healthcare, I thought that was normal. With Linda, my nails last about a month! Love her! I’m definitely getting my money’s worth!

I really like getting my nails done here. The wait is never too long. The prices are really good compared to other nail salons I have been to. The manicures and pedicures I’ve gotten here are always well done. After having some bad experiences at other shops I’m glad that this is the closest one to my house.

Stopped in on a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Lots of employees and tons of pedicure chairs. Took about 15 min to get in. Great choice of colors including OPI. Spa chair gave a great massage and my mani and pedi was done quick– I don’t like spending a lot of time. An hour is good for me. Really enjoyed this place !
